Ciao Ciao, a young arrogant Chinese woman, returns to her native village in the heart of the mountains to visit her parents. She wants to return to Canton County as quickly as possible to establish a business with her friend Lee Lee. But her parents ask her to stay and help them, but she hesitates and wanders around the village. Ciao Ciao becomes desired by Li Wei, the young son of a rich bootlegger.
