Adam is a family man who also runs a group that smuggles cigarettes from Slovakia to Ukraine. Among his friends and family, he fills a position that no one else can. Although he is a resolute leader, he values harmony between the two entwined worlds as much as he values sensitivity in decision-making situations. When one of the smuggling shipments goes wrong, he rebels.
