A small coastal town is in a state of excitement at the impending visit by the President. Inhabitants nervously peck and preen at their surroundings, scurrying around and cleaning frantically ahead of his arrival, to inspect a soap factory. But as the red-letter day draws closer, it grows ever more uncertain as to what will happen – or if indeed, will the President actually show up?
