Hoda works as a newspaper editor and exposes Si Kinani, Morocco's biggest politician, so he tries to destroy the confectionery and prevent people from buying from it. He also buys the newspaper in which she works, and when she moves to work in a second one, her father gets angry with her.

Jabour and Latifa adopt a child, whom they find lost in the street, but the boy steals anything valuable, and Fatema warns them, but Latifa loves the boy, even Aisha got attached to him. When the boy's true family shows up and takes their son back, Jabour gets sad.

Mustafa and his wife go to Fatema's house, where he meets Jabour and Ahmed, with whom he plays chess and wins, then he asks him for money or anything he owns. Fatema gets angry because Jabour decided to sell him the confectionery.

As a big storm hits the town, the light goes out in the entire area. Fatema leaves Jabour to take care of the shop and goes to the house, where she finds that Ahmed has received a man and made him stay in her room. Hoda gathers some children with Aouina to sing in the street to make it rain.
