The mother buys a quantity of cheese, unaware that it is spoiled. After she gives her kids and her husband the cheese to sell on the street, the grandfather reads in the papers that some people were poisoned after eating cheese, which shocks the mother and makes her husband fearful.

Hayat comes to Fatema's house to bake bread, and as she kneads it, her nice ring falls into the dough without her realizing it, but she then finds it after it has been swallowed by Aisha, and the grandfather discovers the matter.
As the two dancers Nisreen and Hanan go to the video shop, they meet El Hajj and Jabour, and the Hajj agrees with them to go to Fatema's house, perhaps to agree to dance at a party, and they leave after staying for a while.
As Hayat puts charms in Fatema's house, Aisha learns and asks her to do the same for her, or else she'll complain to Latifa, but Fatema finds out about it and gets angry with her. Ahmed sells bootlegged films with his friend, and the grandfather finds out and tries to get the shop owner arrested.

As the barber searches for a videotape but does not find it, he goes to the video shop and discovers that Jamal and his brother took it and lost it. Karim introduces his girlfriend to Fatema, who does not like her and tries with her mother-in-law to sabotage their relationship.
Fatema goes to finish an affair in another governorate, and the Hajj takes over the management of the house and treats everyone strictly. When her young son falls ill, the rest of the family leaves the house until Fatema comes back, then they ask her not to travel again.
Nabiha goes to Fatema's house after having a quarrel with her husband because she wants independence and freedom, while Fatema and Ahmed try to convince her to return to him. Jamal writes a romantic letter to Aisha, and his mother quarrels with him and convinces Kamal to take his wife home.
As Ahmed and his wife train for the couples' competition in order to appear on a TV show, the Hajj and the Hajja join them, and the children help them solve the questions, whereupon Fatema wins the competition.

A Chinese young man comes to Fatema's house and thinks it is a hotel. As Aisha admires him, she steals his passport and ticket so that he does not travel, whereupon the Hajj searches for the guy's belongings.
As the Hajj changes his clothing style and styles his hair like a young man, his wife doubts him and enlists the help of her young friend to change her appearance too, but the Hajj does not like it and tells her that he did it for a new job.
Fatema and the girls prepare for the wedding of some girl, and the Hajja wants to join them. As the groom's family prefers the Hajja to Fatema, the latter gets angry, after which many women ask for Hajja Zubeida to organize their weddings.

The Hajj and the Hajja travel to Tangiers, and the whole family misses them. As they recall all the situations that happened with them, Fatema decides to call them and invite them to come back, upon which everyone rejoices at their return.
