As Saleh refuses to leave the land, he faces a lot of pressure and the water gets cut off to force him to sell it. When Reda marries Hassan's fiancée, Hassan grows wroth, leading to a car accident that claims his life. Hassan's mother vows revenge.
Fathy leaves his mother at a remote location in the countryside. When Mahmoud learns about where she is, he promises to keep it a secret from everyone, including his own daughter. Mariam's husband kicks her out of the house when he learns that she met her cousin, to whom she was previously engaged.
Reda gets an anonymous call, extorting him with the knowledge about his affair with Elham and that he bought her a car and a house behind his wife's and Tawfik's backs. As Khaled quarrels with Fathy, Dalila gets shocked. She is rushed to the hospital as she goes into labor.
As Dalila's condition improves, Mahmoud quarrels with Fathy and holds him responsible for what happened to his daughter. Ibrahim visits Dalila in the hospital, surprising her with his relationship with her father. Fathy tells Ibrahim that he wants nothing to do with him.
Dalila is released from the hospital. As Khaled and Ibrahim quarrel over Mariam, Al-Zahy mediates to reconcile them. Ibrahim and Tawfik agree to partner up. Khamis Al-Faham quarrels with his step-daughter, who runs away and gets saved by Negma.
After Dalila asks Fathy to take his mother and leave the house, she asks her father to cut off ties with Ibrahim and keep Fathy out of the problems with the land. Reda quarrels with Elham as he believes that she is behind his extortion. Reda agrees with his wife to cut off ties with his brother and mother.
With Elham's help, Reda retrieves the photos he was being extorted with. Samir leaves his father's house when the latter opposes his marriage to Jihan. Despite Mahmoud's rejection, Fathy reconciles with Dalila.
Fathy and Dalila rejoice when the former's mother regains the ability to speak. Ibrahim promises his mother to get revenge on Mahmoud and take back his father's land from him. When Fathy goes to inform Reda of his mother's recovery, Reda's wife kicks him out. Al-Zahy tries to work for Fathy and Dalila.
Reda catches Jihan after she opens the safe and reads the letter. Al-Zahy divorces his wife, Salha, who was trying to drive a wedge between Fathy and Dalila, first by claiming that Fathy is having an affair, then by telling Fathy that Dalila's mother is staying with them to break them up.
When Khamis dies, Khaled gets accused of killing him and goes to prison despite his innocence. A French woman arrives in Reda's house, claiming that the child she has with her is his son. Fathy and his mother leave the house and go to stay with Saleh.
Al-Zahy quarrels with his ex-wife after he divorces her and prepares to marry Negma. When Fathy discovers that Salema is the one causing problems between him and Dalila, he slaps her and tries to expose her to Dalila. Reda's wife refuses to allow Reda's son with Michele to stay with them.
When Fathy's mother passes away, Reda mourns her and leaves his wife, taking his son with him. Khaled gets released after getting acquitted of the murder charges. Tawfik gets arrested, but not before selling the land to Ibrahim, which devastates Mahmoud.
Fathy hires a lawyer to get Mahmoud's land back. After Dalila confirms that Fathy hasn't cheated on her, she reconciles with him. The neighborhood's people warm up to Ibrahim, even Saleh, after he starts helping around.
Salema asks Mahmoud for forgiveness and tries to get her job back, hiding the fact that she is working for Ibrahim and wants to spy on them. Despite the objection of his son Khaled, Saleh befriends Ibrahim.
Reda kicks his wife out as revenge for what she did to him when her father was rich. As Al-Zahy gets imprisoned, he helps Fathy expose Ibrahim and how he seized Mahmoud's land. Ibrahim gets arrested after Salema confesses to his crimes.
