When the island's people save a child from drowning, El-Rawy accuses El-Daw of being the reason the child's boat sank. El-Daw sets El-Rawy up for theft and cuts his hand off as a punishment. When El-Rawy dies, His son Bahr leaves the town, vowing to return some day.

When a now-grown Bahr witnesses an attack on a police car, he is injured in a fight to catch one of the terrorists. When his sweetheart Habiba goes to see him at the hospital, her father beats her and she blacks out, leading to the discovery of her having a benign brain tumor.

Bahr's friend Hima tells him about his feelings for Fatma, Erfan's daughter. Rabei tries to have Bahr killed. The police ask Bahr to stay on the island to help them catch the terrorists.

Habiba's brother Mujahid is arrested when he tries to assault Bahr. Rabei wants to marry Habiba. Bahr admonishes his brother Saleh for wanting revenge for their father.

As Bahr and Hima look for Salem, Rabei tries to lure them in by pretending to have him. Bahr attacks Rabei's warehouse. Habiba's father approves her marriage to Rabei and rebuffs Bahr when he tries to ask for her hand. One of Rabei's men shoots at Bahr and Erfan.

When Erfan is shot instead of Bahr, Rabei admonishes his associate, Omran, and sends him away. Habiba and Bahr clash after he refuses to run away with her. Bahr sends Rabei a message.

Bahr is furious when Rabei charges Erfan with delivering a new shipment and invites him to his wedding. Bahr gets in a fight with Mujahid. Habiba runs away and asks Gerges for help. Rabei's wife seeks out Bahr.

Zahira tries to supply Bahr with money to pay off Garhey's debt to Rabei. Habiba's family heads to Bahr's house to look for her, but Gerges intercepts them. Omran comes back, but Rabei tells him he gave his position to another.

When Bahr finds the terrorist, his terrorist organization asks Rabei to dispose of him. Salem falls in love with a gypsy dancer. Bahr is attacked and kidnapped by unknown assailants.

Hima accuses Rabei of kidnapping Bahr, but the cops can't find him after searching Rabei's property. Mujahid locks Habiba up in her room. A terrorist organization asks for a trade: Bahr for the detained terrorist. The cops locate Bahr.

When the cops rescue Bahr and arrest the terrorists, Omran returns to tell Rabei who orders Omran killed. The cops suspect Rabei's involvement in the terrorist attacks. Salem gets in a fight with a gypsy over his connection to the gypsy dancer, Gawaher. Bahr and Salem quarrel.

When Rabei gets Garhey arrested, Mujahid repeatedly refuses Bahr's help. Mujahid blames Habiba for getting their father in trouble. Habiba agrees to marry Rabei in exchange for her father's release.

Garhey is saddened when he learns that Habiba traded herself for him. Rabei invites Bahr to the wedding and brazenly confesses his part in everything that happened to Bahr. Salem and Gawaher decide to run away together.

Fearing Bahr's reaction to Rabei and Habiba's wedding, Erfan asks Hima and Gerges to keep an eye on him. Rabei rapes Habiba on their wedding night and sends men to beat Bahr. Salem tells his mother that he intends to marry a dancer.

When Habiba is found dead the morning after her wedding, everyone is left reeling. Bahr grows feverish and Salem worries for him. Hima observes Fatma's fear for Bahr and her joy at his recovery.

As Bahr joins with Habiba's family to avenge her, he refuses to kill Rabei in front of his children. Grief leaves Garhey mentally unstable. Salem's mother asks Bahr to save him. Erfan is worried about the shipment's journey from the port to the warehouse.

Salem is shocked when Gawaher and her people leave abruptly. Rabei threatens to harm Erfan's family when the money hidden inside the shipment goes missing. Erfan asks Bahr to look after his family.

As Rabea blows up the island's church during Mariam's wedding, Erfan and Gerges are left in critical condition.

Mujahid wants to move his father to a psychiatric facility, but his mother refuses. Erfan's dying wish is for Bahr to take Fatma and Zainab and leave, but the two of them blame Bahr for Erfan's death. Gerges dies and Mariam wakes up from her coma to a dead father and amputated legs.

When Rabei tries to get Gawaher to spy on Bahr's family, her presence in Bahr's house at a late hour provokes the townspeople. Rabei dispells the gathered mob and discovers that Bahr doesn't know where the money is and that Erfan asked him to marry Fatma.

When Bahr leaves for Cairo with Hima, Fatma and Zainab, he takes them to Hasab Allah's house like Erfan ordered. Bahr discovers that Erfan hid Rabei's money on the roof of Hasab Allah's house. Rabei threatens Erfan's assistant after being threatened by the terrorist organization.

Omran's body is found after he is implicated in the church bombing. Salem and Gawaher get married, and her cousin tries to kill her at the wedding, but Bahr stops him.

Rabei is arrested after Omran's body is identified, but there is not enough evidence to hold him. Salem's mother falls ill when she discovers that he has been taking drugs. Bahr buries the money.

Rabei promises the terrorist organization to pay back the money. Bahr quarrels with Salem when he learns about his drug problem. Hima gets locked up in Bahr's room by masked men.

Bahr and Hima resist the masked men, but they escape. Rabei plots how to make Bahr divulge the money's location. Bahr learns that Salem's mother passed away.

As Rabei and his wife Zahira reconcile, Elwan learns that Rabei is the one who killed Omran and shoots him.

Elwan is arrested as Rabei is rushed to the hospital. Fatma refuses to marry Hima who takes out his sorrow on Bahr. Zainab starts falling for Bahr who refuses to marry after Habiba.

Garhey goes insane and wanders off. Rabei plots with Salem's friend, Ramzy, against Bahr. Things get tense between Hima and Fatma despite her attempts to move on from her rejection of him.

When the terrorist organization threatens to kill Rabei if he doesn't retrieve the money, he offers Salem money to lead him to the hidden money, but he is shocked when Bahr arrives.

Rabei moves his family to Cairo to pursue Bahr. Bahr starts his own company and informs his friends that he has a powerful partner who prefers to stay unknown. Zainab disappears after insulting one of her classmates. Ramzy asks Salem to introduce him to Bahr.

Bahr gets furious when he learns that Zainab is at a nightclub. After hitting a girl with his car, he discovers that she was looking for a doctor for her mother who has died. A terrorist finds Rabei and says that his time is up.

Rabei wakes up from his nightmare. Bahr blames himself for the death of Yasmine's mother. Salem tries to put his finger on the reason for the animosity between Bahr and Rabei. Rabei prepares for a new job.

Bahr saves Yasmine from a violent relative. Mujahid informs Bahr that Garhey passed away. On a visit to Salem's house, Ramzy covets Gawaher.

As Rabei starts working with another group, the terrorist organization threatens him. Rabei tortures Ramzy. Yasmine tells Bahr about the threatening messages she is receiving, only for the police to arrive.

Sherif asks for Zainab's hand. Bahr celebrates his birthday with Yasmine. Bakry keeps tabs on Rabei and his second wife, Shouk.

When Bakry confronts Rabei about Shouk, Rabei throws him out. Bahr refuses to let Zainab marry Sherif. Mujahid is upset over Bahr's relationship with Yasmine. Yasmine disappears.

Bahr is shocked when Zainab reveals that she has been watching him and confesses her feelings for him. He tries to distance himself from Yasmine, but she tells him that he is afraid to love her.

Salem warns Bahr against Yasmine. Rabei kills Bakry in front of Zahira. Yasmine and Bahr quarrel. Zainab avoids Sherif.

Hima and Salem confront Bahr about the enmity between him and Rabei, but he blows them off. A grieving Zahira stops eating and asks Rabei to let her and her children go, but he refuses.

As the cops investigate the attempt on Bahr and Yasmine's lives, Bahr meets officer Alaa, his old acquaintance. Rabei discovers that Bakry was loyal to him. Mujahid falls for Zainab who agrees to marry Sherif. Hima sees Fatma with Hazem.

Hasab Allah warns Bahr against Yasmine. Om Habiba asks Bahr to wed Fatma to Mujahid. Ramzy informs Rabei that he has a video of Bakry's murder. Yasmine informs Bahr that she is emigrating to Europe. Terrorists kill Zahira and one of Rabei's sons.

Rabei refuses to tell the cops the truth about his wife and son's murder. Bahr refuses to let Yasmine leave the country. Om Habiba talks to Fatma and asks her to marry Mujahid, as Mujahid tries to tell Zainab that he loves her.

Salem decides to move out after a fight with Bahr. Zainab tells Fatma that Bahr is in love and that he is a selfish person. Bahr proposes to Yasmine.

Yasmine refuses to marry Bahr due to his lingering feelings for Habiba. Zainab rejects Mujahid. Rabei plots to seize the money from Bahr. Salem and Gawaher leave the house.

Bahr has a public fight with Salem after which he decides to come clean to him and Hima. Mohga falls for Mujahid and Fatma promises to help her.

Salem and Bahr clash over what to do with Rabei's money. Hasab Allah tells Om Habiba that Mujahid wants to marry Zainab. Yasime refuses to reconsider leaving the country.

Om Habiba opposes Zainab and Mujahid's marriage. A terrorist tries to convince Rabei to take his revenge on Bahr for causing his family's murder. Rabei legalizes his marriage to Shouk and brings her to his house. Salem tells Bahr and Hima that Rabei found the money.

Bahr admonishes Salem for confirming that Bahr has the money. Zainab discovers that Sherif is a playboy who has deceived many girls. Fatma disappears then calls Zainab saying that she is in trouble. Bahr, Hima, and Salem are surrounded by masked men.

As Bahr, Salem and Hima are beaten and robbed, Rabei discovers that someone else got to them first. Fatma is questioned after the disappearance of one of her kindergarten children. She is accused of attempting to kidnap a child.

Bahr looks for Hazem who can prove Fatma's innocence. Rabei alleges to have retrieved the money and refuses to give it back to the terrorist organization. Zainab disappears, and Mohga learns that she went to take revenge on Sherif who tells Ramzy he won't manipulate her anymore.

Zainab discovers that Salem has been plotting with Yasmine, Sherif, and Ramzy to take Rabei's money from Bahr. The terrorists order Rabei to kill officer Alaa.

Rabei tells Bahr that he's behind everything that happened and that Salem was initially working with him until he decided to betray him and take the money for himself. The cops discover that Hazem knew the kidnapped child's father and that he took the child to blackmail the father.

Bahr finds Zainab with Yasmine's aid. Ramzy threatens to kill Zainab and Gawaher if Salem doesn't hand over half the money. Rabei's men accidentally shoot Ramzy. Rabei tortures Shouk when he discovers that she's been working with Ramzy.

Gawaher dies in childbirth. Bahr and Hima find Hazem and prove Fatma's innocence. Yasmine confesses to Bahr.

Bahr kidnaps Yasmine and informs Zainab that the money Salem took doesn't belong to any of them. Rabei sends his men after Shouk when she escapes her assassination attempt. The terrorists find Salem but can't find the money.

Bahr locks up Fatma and Zainab with Yasmine. He receives a message informing him of Salem's demise, but Salem is actually alive. Bahr confronts Rabei.

Rabei and Bahr agree to look for Salem and the money. Bahr forgives Yasmine who informs Rabei that she knows where Salem and the money are. Hima and Bahr go separate ways.

Yasmine and Bahr deceive Rabei who finds Bahr waiting for him when he goes looking for Salem. Sally tells Zainab that Sherif killed himself. The terrorists kidnap Salem and threaten Bahr.

Bahr agrees to exchange Salem for the money and informs everyone that they are returning to the island. Hima sets Raebi up and turn him over to the terrorists as the cops arrive.

After they are rescued, Bahr explains to Salem, Mujahid and Seror that he has been working with the authorities to arrest Rabei and the terrorists. As Bahr tries to trade Rabei's son for Yasmine, Rabei accidentally kills his own son. Bahr leaves Yasmine and returns to the island with his friends.
