The story takes place in the last years of the French protectorate of Tunisia, specifically in 1954, and follows three young men from different social classes who join a resistance cell against the occupiers: Mustafa, a laboring-class worker; Hadi, a young bourgeoisie who has embraced the revolutionary cause in compliance with his values and principles; and Hassan, who is devoted to the cause.
