Lazhar, Thabet's son, goes to his uncle's house, and they start talking about the affairs of the farm and the neighbors there. As his uncle takes him to his room, Lazhar refuses to go out, whereupon his uncle asks him if he wants to eat dinner.

Lazhar goes with his uncle to do morning sports in order to lose a little weight, after which they practice yoga for psychological comfort. His uncle prevents him from talking, tells him to imagine that he's at sea, then falls asleep. They play boxing, and Lazhar is too shy to defend himself.

As Lazhar earns 650 million dinars, his uncle and aunt, Ni'ni'a, rejoice. Zahwani tries to treat Lazhar very kindly and asks him for the winning ticket, which they search for in the safe. Zahwani dreams of the projects he will set up after taking the money, but Ni'ni'a tells him that he won nothing.

As Zahwani and Lazhar sleep in the same room, they hear a voice, and Zahwani convinces Lazhar to go out of the room to see what's going on, then he calls the police, and tells them there's a genie in the house. Lazhar tells him that he found the genie, but Zahwani remains afraid until Ni'ni'a comes.

Zahwani and Lazhar prepare themselves for a party, and the former mentions the names of the invitees and teaches Lazhar how to receive the guests. While they are imagining what will happen at the party, Ni'ni'a tells them that food has been burned, and Zahwani falls unconscious.

The aunt quarrels with Lazhar because he bought her a piece of meat that she did not ask for, and when her husband comes back, she asks him to install the windowpane, but the glass breaks.

Lazhar decides to travel to Europe and packs his bag, while his aunt's husband grieves for his departure, bids him farewell, and asks him to take care of himself, especially since he knows how naive he is.

Lazhar helps his aunt Ni'ni'a to clean the house and talks to her about the meat that she didn't like. Zahwani comes back describing how heavy the rain is. As he wants to fix the broken window, he tries to get Lazhar to install the glass, but he drops it and breaks it for the second time.

Ni'ni'a tells Zahwani that her husband got back together with her. Zahwani asks Lazhar about the bird that he didn't find in the cage then asks Lazhar to give him a shave, but Lazhar refuses and decides to travel. Zahwani grieves that his nephew is leaving and asks him to sing his favorite song.
