Natasha doesn’t think much of destiny, and miracles; she’s a true believer in science and facts. Against all odds, 12 hours before her family is deported to Jamaica, she bumps into Daniel, a nice guy whom she starts feeling like falling in love with.

Jamaica-born Natasha Kingsley, who believes in facts and science, meets with romantic American-Korean Daniel Bae, who believes in fate and destiny. Daniel has one day to spend with Natasha as her family is being deported and she is seeking legal help so they could stay in New York. Is their love destined to flourish against all odds, or are lives just determined by random events of the universe?
