Moufida grieves because of her daughter’s recklessness and going out without informing her with Kamal, the son of the man she loved in the past; her mother tries to calm her down. As for her husband, Rasheed, a well-known lawyer, her relationship with him is not good.

Moufida's brother quarrels with her because she went to meet Kamal's father; he asks his mother not to resume the relationship between the two families. Najwa quarrels with her parents because they insulted the father of her son Anees, and she decides to live alone.

Moufida's husband tells her that he will not allow her to insult him again. Noah, who works with him in the law office, hits his younger brother for neglecting his studies as he quarrels with his sister's fiancé. Najwa takes Yassin to the doctor because of his shortness of breath.

As Najwa goes to the lawyer to file a case, he persuades her to back down as he advises her to choose a new husband who should love her son. Selim is always in conflict with his girlfriend because of his son.

Kamal goes to Rasheed's office and asks him to prepare the thesis at the university and he accepts; Noah is enraged and threatens him that he will inform Rasheed of his relationship with Hoda. When Moufida finds out, she goes to stop him.

Qais runs away from his mother's house after the maid beats him and locks him in his room because of his bad psychological state due to his parents' divorce. When Moufida agrees that Kamal comes to the house, her mother is surprised by her behavior.

As the child goes to his grandmother's house in Kairouan, his father calls Najwa to tell her that he is there, but she accuses him of kidnapping him; her father asks her to file a complaint against him. Rasheed calms her down and asks her to be sure first.

Murshid wants to sell his house and take his wife and daughters to live in his father's house; he tells Moufida so that he pressures her to give him money. As Rasheed's relationship with Najwa grows stronger, his daughter Hoda goes to live with him.

As Noah gets to know Mariam in the office, he admires her. Murshid and his wife plan to sell the house and pressure his mother to divide the inheritance. Saleem's friend is jealous of Najwa who likes Rasheed.

As Murshid's mother is sad because of his desire to sell his father's house, she asks her daughter to help him with money. Najwa meets Rasheed, who decides to divorce Moufida. Kamal quarrels with his father over his relationship with Hoda and leaves the house.

As Najwa asks Selim to look after his son, she decides to go with him to Kairouan and takes Qais with them. As Rasheed admits his love for Najwa, he tells her he can't marry her. Moufida is sad when she goes home and does not find Rasheed.

Hoda meets Najwa after Rasheed introduces them to each other in order to get them to know one another in preparation for telling her that he wants to marry Najwa, but Hoda goes to her mother and tries to reconcile her with her father.

As Hoda celebrates her birthday, she invites her parents to reconcile, but Moufida kicks Rasheed out; he tells her that he will not return to her. Noah marries Mariam and opens his own printing press. Najwa tells her friend about Rasheed and her intention to marry him.

Hoda is sad after her father decides to marry Najwa, while her grandfather refuses her marriage to Kamal due to old disputes. Moufida tries to find a solution for her daughter after she tells her the story of her past relationship with Kamal's father.

Hoda marries Kamal despite her father's refusal, as he attends the wedding at the last moment. Selim marries his girlfriend Amal. Najwa ends up alone after Moufida insults her and asks her to stay away from Rasheed.
