Fawzya survives and confesses to killing Zuhriya. Kamla is acquitted of the murder charge. Shahira learns that her brother is sterile.
Amer moves into his grandmother's house. Mazhar asks Hamed to kill Kedas to keep him from exposing them. Mazhar refuses to allow Fahmia to wed Sabry.
When Fawyza tells Shahira that Kedas raped her, Abu Amer (Amer's father) refuses to believe her. Kamla decides to go back home and support her husband.
Mazhar enlists Hamed's help to kill Maged. Shahira tries to convince Abu Amer to seek treatment for his sterility.
On Mazhar's orders, Kamel kills Al-Mokhtar. As the neighborhood's youth arrests Hamed, he comes clean about Mazhar's atrocities against the neighborhood's people.
Abu Sakhr (Sakhr's father) helps Safiya escape Abu Al-Raja. Chief Abu Amer learns of Mazhar's betrayal. The Commander decides to kill Mazhar to prevent him from telling the neighborhood people about their plots.
When Adly is arrested for dealing drugs, the chief interferes to get him released. Ezzo refuses to go back to his wife Seham. Abu Al-Raja asks Kedas to bring him Mazhar.
Abu Khedr locks Mazhar up after Kedas fails to bring him to Abu Al-Raja. The neighborhood's men break into Abu Al-Raja's place, but he survives. Siyah confirms that Abu Safy (Safy's father) is his own father too. Bashir learns that Mazhar is the one who got his father killed.
The Commander asks Abu Al-Raja to teach his men at arms. As Motea' brings Najah back, his family asks her for forgiveness. Azmiya pulls out all the stops to have Mazhar released.
The neighborhood's men launch a raid against the French army. Abu Al-Raja captures Sakhr. Chief Abu Amer, Jamil, and Abu Ghareeb (Abu Ghareeb) are martyred. Bashir asks the Commander to expedite Mazhar's death sentence.
As Shahira asks Abu Mahmoud (Mahmoud's father) to manage Abu Amer's properties, she sends money to the rebels. Azmiya begs So'uad to drop the charges against Mazhar, but So'uad rebuffs her. Warda decides to abort her son by Mazhar.
Fahmia tries to mend bridges between her and Warda, but the latter kicks her out. Adly helps a mute man who arrives in the neighborhood.
Warda's family rebukes her after she aborts her baby. Abu Ezzo (Ezzo's father) decides to become the neighborhood's leader, but Abu Selim (Selim's father) opposes him. Motea'a learns that she is pregnant.
Kedas decides to release Hamed to help them. Abu Ezzo becomes the leader of the neighborhood. Kedas tries to take Amer from the neighborhood, but Siyah accidentally shoots Amer, leaving Kedas to vow revenge.
It's revealed that the mute man is colluding with the French against the neighborhood's people. Fahmia asks the lawyer Fahmy to help Mazhar. Abu Al-Raja's men are trained at arms.
Hamed gets released and starts working with Kedas. Motea' is distressed that Sabry believes Fahmia. Abu Mar'ei (Mar'ei's father) tries to exploit Jamil and Siyah.
Kamla passes away. Mazhar refuses to separate from Warda. Kedas breaks into Abu Amer's house and robs it. When Jamil quarrels with Abu Mar'ei, he gets arrested after the latter submits a complaint against him.
The French army offers for the people of the Levant to volunteer for the army, but no one takes them up on it. Abu Mar'ei refuses to drop the complaint unless Jamil pays him.
Abu Selim helps Jamil and pays the money in his stead. Azmiya begs So'uad to forgive Mahzar, but the latter continues to refuse.
Abu Hashem (Hashem's father) donates money to the rebels to buy weapons. Azmiya and the Commander make a deal for the former to spy on the neighborhood's people in exchange for Mazhar's release.
Azmiya starts to provide the Commander with information about the rebels. Marzouk informs Siyah that Mazhar tried to get him to kill the chief in the past, but Siyah refused.
The Commander tries to recruit Bashir, but the latter refuses to become a traitor. Abu Hashem asks Adly for Adlya's hand in marriage. Kedas kidnaps Maged.
In an attempt to learn the location of the money that the neighborhood's people have hidden, Kedas tortures Maged. Umm Hashem (Hashem's mother) beats Adlya after the latter agrees to wed Abu Hashem.
Mazhar asks Abu Al-Raja to raid the Qasab neighborhood to rob it. Umm Ezzo (Ezzo's mother) refuses to marry her daughter to Siyah.
Abu Al-Raja kidnaps Motea'. Abu Ezzo admonishes his wife for her refusal to wed Afaf to Siyah. The Commander learns that the neighborhood's men have been sending weapons to Abu Al-Reda.
The Commander fires Bashir for refusing to cooperate with him. Ezzo starts to manage Abu Amer's properties. The Commander asks Mazhar to return to the neighborhood.
Abu Al-Raja and Kedas go into the neighborhood to kill Siyah, but they end up killing Abu Safy. Jamil learns of Motea' and Maged's location.
Azmiya incites Umm Hashem against her husband to get him to reconsider his marriage. Abu Selim and the Sheikh negotiate with Abu Al-Raja to release Maged and Motea', but Abu Al-Raja asks for a huge ransom.
Mazhar returns to the neighborhood under protection from the French. Siyah is wronged by the neighborhood's people, who smear his name for helping Shahira.
Shahira decides to sell Abu Amer's stores to distribute the inheritance. Abu Hamdy (Hamdy's father) asks Umm Sa'eid (Sa'eid's mother) to marry Rashida to the mute man.
Afar tries to run away from home to avoid being forcibly married to Sabry, but her attempt fails. The neighborhood's men try to set Motea' and Maged free, but they are met with failure.
Fahmia gives Warda monetary aid to secure the return of Motea'. Bashir buys weapons to attack Abu Al-Raja. Kedas kills Maged. Fekria gives birth to a boy.
Ezzo decides to wed Fekria to make it up to her. Dr. Samer proposes to Warda, but she refuses. Kedas breaks into Motea'a and Shahira's house, but Mazhar saves them.
Abu Ezzo apologizes to Siyah for misjudging him. When Kedas gets shot, Hamed kidnaps Dr. Sameh to treat him. Shahira helps the rebels by giving them money to buy weapons.
When the neighborhood's people continue to refuse to pay the ransom, Abu Al-Raja tortures Sakhr and Motea' and asks Hamed to kidnap Motea'a
Abu Al-Raja raids the neighborhood, killing Adly and kidnapping Adlya. Motea' is set free by As'ad on Mazhar's orders.
Mazhar gives the neighborhood's men money to buy weapons. The mute man kidnaps Rashida and runs away before the truth about him is revealed. The neighborhood's men eliminate Abu Al-Raja's men and liberate everyone.
