Naya is a psychiatrist who is expecting a baby. When she learns about the suicide of her patient Rose, she tries to figure out why she killed herself. Lolita starts her treatment with Naya, informing her about her previous relationship with a married man who left her after his wife got pregnant.
As Naya meets up with Rose's husband, she starts to suspect that he had something to do with Rose's death. Ghada informs Naya that Rose was having an affair.
Naya suspects that her husband Ramy is Lolita's lover, but she has an accident that prevents her from further investigating the matter.
When Ramy receives a fabricated picture of Naya and Galal together, he accuses Naya of cheating on him with Galal. Lolita informs Fady that she is having an affair with Ramy.
Naya discovers that Lolita is Rose's daughter, and that Lolita's father and aunt killed Rose after she learned of their relationship. Despite confirming that Ramy and Lolita slept together, Naya doesn't confront Ramy out of fear of ruining her life.
Hazem is surprised that his wife Lama hasn't confronted him about his multiple affairs. Farah is upset that three years have passed since her marriage, but she is still unable to conceive a child.
Mona's mother tells Lama that her baby was replaced with another at the hospital. It's revealed that Lama had slept with Ghassan to take revenge on Hazem. Farah advises Raja to take another wife to placate his family, but he dismisses the idea.
Raja eventually agrees to marry another to give him a baby. Lama runs a DNA test and learns that Ramy isn't her son. Mona gives her a paper with the other family's information and Lama manages to contact them.
Lama finds her son Tamer and learns he is autistic. It turns out that Tamer is Ghassan's son, not Hazem's, and Lama's long-buried secret threatens to come to the surface.
Raja hides from Farah the fact that he took another wife. Lama tells her sister the truth about Tamer, but she doesn't tell her he's autistic.
Hazem learns that he is sterile. When Farah learns that she is pregnant, Raja comes clean about his marriage. Taghrid informs Lama that Tamer suffers from renal failure and requires a kidney transplant. As Lama enlists Ghassan's help to donate a kidney to Tamer, Ghassan refuses to help.
Majd informs his mother that he has wed Nour and decided to travel with her. When Majd dies, Nour returns and informs his mother that she is pregnant. Nour's aunt tries to convince Nour's cousin, Zuhair to wed Nour. It's revealed that Wa'ed used to carry a torch for Nour despite of his disability.
It's revealed that Wa'ed was in an accident that claimed his mother's life and left him wheelchair-bound. When Nour gets assaulted, her mother suspects that Zuhair is the culprit.
Wa'ed proposes to Nour, but the latter refuses out of faithfulness to Majd. Wa'ed points a gun at Nour.
Nour tells Bahaa about how Wa'ed threatened her to get her to marry him. Zuhair informs his mother that Ra'ed's men beat him. After Wa'ed takes money out of Majd's account, he gets accused of killing Majd.
As the family is questioned, Ra'ed refuses to confess that his son Wa'ed is the one who shot at him. Nour exposes the truth in front of the detective, but the family buries the incident.
As the investigation into Majd's murder continues, Wa'ed gets arrested. However, it's revealed that Nour is the one who plotted Majd's murder and framed Wa'ed.
Ra'ed suffers a stroke when he learns that Wa'ed killed Majd. The extent of Nour's subterfuge is revealed as she plots with Gamal to leave the country.
Despite being married for a long time, Aseel and her husband Ram remain unable to conceive. Zoya runs a man called Karam over with her car, but Karam doesn't press charges.
After the accident, Zoya offers Karam financial aid, but he refuses to accept. The doctor informs Aseel that her husband is the cause of their childbearing problem, prompting her to ask for a divorce. Zoya gets close to Karam and asks him to meet her sister and brother-in-law.
Karam catches feelings for Aseel. After telling her that he does not love Zoya, the two of them fall into bed. Karam's friend advises him to run away to escape such a dysfunctional family.
When Zoya learns that her fiancé is cheating on her with her sister, she vows revenge. Aseel decides to leave her husband to be with Karam. Zoya leaves a letter for Aseel, telling her that she killed herself after she found out about Aseel's affair with Karam.
As Aseel learns that she is pregnant, her guilt over Zoya's death leads her to break up with Karam. Aseel is shocked when she finds out that her sister and her husband Ram plotted revenge after they learned about her cheating.
