In Navara, the king bans schooling to keep his people ignorant so he can stay in control. He stops development, and even stops the clock's hands so that the residents will not recognize time. However, after Al Battle and Labib meet Princess Jasmine, Navara's ignorance is revealed to them, so they decide to educate the people.
