Maryam prepares to present a new play entitled "The Bridge", written by university professor Badr, and she gathers the cast of the play to discuss it. Abu Saud (Saud's father) quarrels with his son because of his constant recklessness in his dealings with those around him and his negligence.
Noura remembers the past when she was a stage actress, and Maryam gets permission from censorship to present her play.
Maryam asks her husband to direct her play. Abu Tariq asks his son to pay attention to his work as an engineer and abandon acting. Meanwhile, things are still tense between Abu Saud and his son due to Saud's negligence in work.
Maryam presents her play with a group of young people, while her husband tells her that he wants to do an international show with a group of stars.
Hanaa quarrels with her stepfather and leaves the house. Habiba also quarrels with her cousin, who's trying to force her to marry him, while Badr remembers his old love for Noura.
Habiba's cousin believes that there is a relationship between her and Badr. Nasser gets into a tragic car accident and is taken to the hospital.
Maryam takes Hanaa to stay at her house, while Badr asks Maryam not to tell her son Jassim that his father was injured in an accident until he finishes his exams.
Hanaa's mother asks her daughter to return home, and Abu Saif suggests that Badr return to Kuwait to check on Nasser's health condition.
Jassim returns from traveling to check on his father in the hospital, while Badr scolds Saif for his excessive jealousy over Shahd and disrupting her studies. Waad tells her mother that her brother Saud should be seen by a psychiatrist due to his many problems with her father.
Nasser's health condition deteriorates, and Hanaa is forced to sleep in the theater office so as not to return to her stepfather's house.
Noura remembers her relationship with Badr and how they parted ways. Badr decides to return to Kuwait. Wadah tries to help Hanaa's mother in solving Hanaa's problem with her stepfather.
Hanaa tries to seek help from anyone who can help her get out of the theater office. Badr explains to Habiba that he thinks of her as a sister. Saud attempts suicide and is rescued at the hospital.
Badr arrives at the theater, and the young people ask him to nominate himself to direct the play.
Saud refuses psychological treatment. As Noura learns that Badr has returned to Kuwait, her sister tells her that he is in front of her house, and she worries about Abu Saud finding out about it.
Wadah informs his sister, Bayda, that Tariq’s asked to marry her. Abu Jamil tries to collect votes against Badr’s nomination to take over the theater association. Meanwhile, hallucinations control Saud.
Saif's fiancée tries to convince him to invest his money in art. Abu Jamil tries to persuade Tariq and Wadah to give him their votes in the elections. Badr begins preparing for his new play.
Hamida's cousin reaches her at the café and threatens her, so she reports him to security. Badr thinks about offering Waad a role in the play, and Maryam agrees.
Noura is sad about Saud leaving the house. Waad is overcome with sadness after the preparations for the play are stopped. Nasser is excluded from the administration after he falls ill.
Shihab causes Nasser's condition to deteriorate in the hospital after informing him of his exclusion from the administration. Wadha's project with Abu Saif succeeds.
Nasser insists on attending the association's conference despite his illness. Badr is upset that he failed to collect votes to present the play. Abu Saif is shocked by the death of much livestock in his project.
Walid informs Abu Saud of the development in his son’s condition and the need for him to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital. Badr obtains approval to present the play and asks the team to prepare for rehearsals.
Wadah is upset that Hanaa is joining the cast. Abu Saif begins seeking the help of foreign experts to save his project from collapse.
Noura is suspicious of Waad's developing relationship with Badr, and also Wadah is upset about her closeness to him, while Abu Saud refuses to let Waad act in the play.
Saud reveals his psychological problem due to his parents’ many problems when he was young, while Hanaa returns to join the play after being nominated by Badr.
Abu Saud becomes suspicious of Noura and her actions after Badr's return to the country, and Wadah tries to stay away from Waad.
Wafaa refuses to let Badr join the association she is managing. Saud's psychological condition improves, while Abu Jamil agrees to join Maryam and Dr. Badr's group.
Abu Saud continues to monitor his wife, Noura, because he is suspicious of her. Saud is released from the hospital and quarrels with his father. Shahd accuses Badr of stealing a theatrical script from her, and the police arrest him.
Badr is able to prove his innocence and Shahd tries to reconcile with him, while things escalate between Abu Saud and Noura after the suggestion that Saud participate in the play.
As Abu Tariq agrees with Badr to collaborate on his new play, rehearsals resume, while Wafaa joins Badr and his team.
Abu Saud quarrels with Waad; Noura leaves the house; Wadha tells Abu Saif that all the research from the lab was stolen.
Abu Saud quarrels with Badr and accuses him of ruining his life. Badr discovers that Waad is Noura's daughter, so he faints and is taken to the hospital.
The play is performed and everyone succeeds. They are surprised by the disappearance of Badr, who travels without anyone knowing and attends Saif's wedding.
