Despite his dislike for work, Anis prepares for a job interview. But when a transportation strike makes it harder for him to go, he returns to the coffee shop to see his friends. Anisa spends the day with her friend. Farah is a professor who is unable to get to her work due to the strike.

As Farah visits her mother, Anis is visited by a salesman who sells home cleaning equipment. Al-Bahary gives Gamal a box of fish as a thank you for helping him get a loan from the bank.

As Bashir makes a deal to sell a house, the buyer makes a mistake and believes that Gamal is the owner of the house he is going to buy, while Gamal thinks that the buyer is a suitor for his daughter. Anis is deceived by a patron at the coffee shop, who claims to be an influential person.

Lacking money to go to the coffee shop, Anis takes some savings cards that he found in the kitchen and goes to the coffee shop. When Farah returns home from work, she discovers that her youngest daughter's phone was stolen.

When Anis meets a girl online, he asks to meet her at the coffee shop. After he meets her, he is shocked by how ignorant she is. Anis calls his friend to fix the computer, but the guy quarrels with Anis's father for breaking down the computer.

With Eid approaching, Anis's friend thinks about buying sheep, only for his girlfriend to make fun of him and inform him that her family has different traditions. As Gamal and his wife return home, he buys a sheep and his daughter asks to take a picture with it before it gets slaughtered.

When Harbousha informs Anis that he is selling the coffee shop, Anis decides to buy it and asks his father to give him money for it. Gamal informs Farah that he will take out a loan to help their son buy the coffee shop, especially since he is still to find a job.

As Anis buys the coffee shop, his friend gets a band and dancers to celebrate the opening. Harbousha tries to teach Anis how things go at the coffee shop. Anis looks for a girl to work there.

Anis squanders his money on his friends and girl and goes to nightclubs behind his father's back. When Gamal asks his son about a beautiful girl that he saw at the coffee shop, his mother-in-law overhears him and tells her daughter, who quarrels with Gamal.

When Gamal discovers that his son has been taking his earnings from the coffee shop to spend it at nightclubs, he beats him and takes charge of the coffee shop's accounts. When Farah asks her husband if he loves her the most, he tells her that he loves his children the most, followed by her.

Anis is saddened when people stop going to the coffee shop. On Valentine's day, Anis's sweetheart comes to visit, but he breaks up with her. Gamal buys an expensive dress for his wife to take her out on Valentine's day.

When Farah asks her husband for his visa to get some money, he gives her the password and calls the bank manager to get him to shut down the account to prevent her from withdrawing money. Anis informs his father that the coffee shop has gone bankrupt and that he wants to give it back to its original owner.

When Gamal informs his wife that his actor friends are coming to rehearse scenes for a play, she prepares food for them. Farah, her mother, and her daughter watch Gamal doing a scene opposite a beauty, which makes Farah so jealous that she interrupts the scene, much to the director's fury.

When Anisa asks her father for money to go out with her friends, her father refuses her request. But his director friend likes Anisa's attitude and asks Gamal to have her participate in their play.

As Reham fantasizes about being at an upscale restaurant, she lights up candles and gets dressed up. When Gamal falls ill, his wife remains by his side. The director meets Anis's sweetheart at the coffee shop and offers her a role.

Anis gets into rap to the point where he starts rapping for his regular conversations. When he invites his rapper friend to his house, Gamal takes note of his weird appearance. Wahid meets a girl at the coffee shop and claims to be able to make a famous rapper out of her.

When Anis finds his friends gathered at the coffee shop, Wahid informs him that they are going to watch the match between Tunisia and Senegal and celebrate afterward. When a stranger goes into Gamal's house, it's revealed that he is a psychiatric patient as his father arrives looking for him.

When Anis falls in love and tells his father he wants to propose, Gamal tells him that he must find a job first to have enough money for marriage. Farah gives Anis emotional support. Anis changes the decor in his room.

Anis proposes to a French girl, hoping to go to France with her. As he introduces her to his parents after she learns to speak Arabic, she insists that she will only marry him if they stay in Tunisia. When Anis refuses, his father admonishes him and tells him that the girl was only testing him.

As Anisa and her friend buy a pizza, Gamal gets one for his wife and hides it in the oven awaiting her return, but Anis finds and eats it. Reham tells her sister that she wants to go to a remote country. Anis's sweetheart gets engaged to Suhail, but her friends make fun of her due to Suhail's poverty.

Despite her attempts to be a good student, Reham's hatred of studying leads her to get bad grades, leaving her to be punished by her mother. Anis asks his parents to give him money to launch a project, but his father refuses his request.

A saleswoman visits Farah and tries to convince her to buy merchandise from Japan. As Anis meets his sweetheart at the coffee shop, his friends watch him as he speaks to her.

Gamal meets his friend who asks for his help to get a loan from Gamal's bank. However, Gamal is forced to refuse since the guy wants to pay the loan after five years. Anis asks his father to get a loan for him.

As Farah's mother arrives for a visit, she tells the girls that she can speak Turkish, only to use the Syrian dialect that is being used for the dubbing of Turkish series. Gamal discovers that his daughter is talking to a young man on Facebook.

When an Algerian man arrives to ask about Gamal's house, Anis's friend shows him the house. Gamal is thrilled to receive Fawzy Macarona, who was nicknamed as such for his love of macaroni, and Farah prepares pasta for him.

Gamal's father, Manwar, starts a new party and puts Farah's mother in charge. As he makes a speech at the coffee shop, the neighborhood's people share their social problems with him, getting him to promise to defend their rights.

When Gamal and Farah return from work, they find many people at home. Gamal gets angry when he discovers that Manwar invited them to make a speech. Manwar quarrels with Farah's mother and asks her to return to her house.

Manwar tries to find a maid for Farah's mother, but she is dissatisfied with his picks. As only one maid remains, she claims to be a fortune-teller and asks them for money. Manwar messes with Gamal's things, tearing some bank documents and marking Farah's students' tests.

Gamal starts a diet, asking the doctor for help since he can not bear healthy food, especially in light of his love for macaroni. When Gamal goes to the coffee shop, Harbousa serves him tea, but the tea ends up causing him to stay up all night.

When Anis alerts his mother that it's his birthday, she gets all the necessary ingredients to make a cake. As Anis invites his friends to his birthday party, Wahid gets him a gift as Harbousa brings a girl to sing at the party.
