Jawad tells his wife Kawthar that his father Ibrahim has cancer, but he keeps the news from his father in order not to pain him. Jawad's son, Hassan, has splenomegaly. When they have a DNA test for Ali, it turns out he is not his son.

Jawad tells Karima that the DNA proved Ali isn't his son, and Kawthar claims it must've been a mistake. Reem's psychological state worsens as she has hallucinations that her father will kill her, and her father intends to hire someone to kill Jawad and his son for their affiliation to Hizbullah.

Jawad grows convinced that Ali is not his son. Hassan and Jawad's peculiar disease takes hold of them. Hassan gives his cousin money to buy clothes, but she rejects it, and it turns out that her grandfather tries to make it up to her for her father's miserliness.

Jawad tries to recall the women who were present at the maternity ward the night his son was born to see whether babies were mistakenly replaced. Karim gets mad at his father for buying Mariam clothes. Hassan's jealousy incites him to quarrel with a colleague upon seeing Mariam with him.

Reem's brother tries to help his sister by consulting a psychiatrist over Skype to help figure out why she fears her father. Ibrahim suggests for Hassan and Mariam to get married. Reem reveals that her father was an agent for Israel. Hossam proposes to Laila.

Ali wonders why is it that his father has decided to postpone his wedding, and Jawad tells the family of Ali's fiancée that he is not his father. As Samy's rep tampers with the brakes of Jawad's car, the latter swerves and has an accident.

Ali's father-in-law asks him to take care because it's clear that someone is targeting his family. Reem's brother tells Dr. Arwa that Reem is convinced her father killed their mother in Beirut years ago. The movement of the Israeli air forces is monitored, revealing they're up to something.

As Jawad reveals to Ali what happened at the hospital the night of his birth, their relationship grows tense. Ehab, Reem's brother, considers returning to Beirut and working with Shaul against Hizbullah just to earn money. The Mossad tries to recruit Ibrahim.

Samy berates Ehab when the Mossad end his service. Ali embarks on a journey to discover the truth about his family. A Mossad officer warns Samy who complied with Shaul and tried to kill Jawad. The DNA reveals that Samy is Ali's father.

Sa'ied is forced to use an explosive device to assassinate one of the Hizbullah leaders. Jawad inquires about Ehab, Samy's son, and he learns that Ehab, just like his father, is an Israeli agent. The Mossad assign Ehab to recruit Dr. Arwa.

Hassan gets mad and threatens his uncle when Adel proposes to his sweetheart. Hizbullah receive information that one of their leaders is the Mossad's next target. Hassan tries to get his mother to wed him his cousin.

When Jawad tells his father Ali's story and that he is Samy's son, his father gets furious and urges Jawad to disown him; he recalls his arrest and torture. Hizbullah find the explosive device and defuse it.

Samy advises Ehab to leave the Mossad and join Hizbullah, which Ehab refuses. Mariam's mother reminds her of what the Israelis did to her uncle as they mercilessly killed him, and she makes a point that she'll never wed her to Ali.

It turns out that Shaul and Ehab work for Hizbullah. Adel reminds Hassan that his uncle was a member of the resistance. Sa'ied is assigned to plant a new explosive device, and Shaul and Ehab report to Hizbullah that the Mossad have penetrated through their internal communication network.

Reem tells Ehab that her father murdered her mother when he learned she was from the resistance. Nadim plants a secret surveillance camera in Hossam's car to film the members of Hizbullah. Karim grows mad at Hassan who threatens everyone who proposes to Mariam.

Fares communicates to the Mossad that he has important information. Sa'ied attempts to evade the Mossad's threats by traveling to Sweden. When Hassan quarrels with Mariam upon seeing her at her father's store, she reconsiders marrying him. Ehab is relieved to learn that Jawad is his father.

When Ibrahim humiliates Ali, the latter leaves the house, despite Hassan's affirmations that Ali is not like his treacherous father. Reem joins Hizbullah. Hady assures Hassan that he will wed him Hauraa once the dust settles.

Reem tells Helal that Samy tried to rape her. Hizbullah receive news that the Israeli forces are to wage war on Lebanon. Fares tells the Mossad that Jawad is hiding an Iranian Jihadist at home, but the polygraph reveals otherwise.

Reem and Ehab ploy a scheme to convince everyone that Reem has gone mad and needs to travel to Egypt for treatment. Hassan is saddened when his uncle refuses to wed him Mariam. At Ibrahim's request, Ali returns home.

Nadim asks Dr. Hossam to hoodwink his fiancée to get her to reveal everything about her father and the resistance. Ibrahim begs for Ali's forgiveness. Shaul gives Ehab information he got from his brother Mordechai, to be communicated to the resistance.

Hauraa's mother rejects to wed her to Ali. Karim insists to take his father to live with him. Hassan suspects Adel, and Kawthar becomes melancholic as she misses her son Ehab.

Hizbullah manage to arrest an Israeli agent planting an explosive device. Sheikh Hady tries to get more information about agent Samy Helal. Ehab tells Reem he will shortly join her in Egypt. Ibrahim passes away, which leaves everyone in utter devastation.

Jawad learns that Karim deceived his father into writing over the store to him. Hizbullah arrest Sa'ied and he admits he has been cooperating with the Mossad. Hossam asks Sheikh Hady to dedicate a day to treat the injured people from Hizbullah for free.

Ehab resumes his attempts to recruit Dr. Arwa and tells her he loves her. Adel learns from Kawthar that his uncle took advantage of his father's illness to get his fingerprint signature on the waiver. The Mossad assign Fares to search for Sa'ied who has gone missing.

Hossam approaches Ali in an attempt to get any information about the resistance. Fares asks Adel for a loan. Hossam considers killing Nadim. Hassan urges his uncle to return their share in their grandfather's orchard.

Karim plots to murder Hassan if the latter mentions the inheritance again. Dr. Arwa accepts to marry Ehab. Sheikh Hady reports to the resistance that the Israeli forces are preparing for an aerial bombing, targeting the armory of the resistance.

Hossam threatens Nadim, and a frightened Nadim promises to get Hossam out of his involvement with the Mossad. Mariam tries to help Hassan and Jawad to get their share in the inheritance. In an attempt to get information about the Zionist army, Ehab encourages Chaim to keep a journal.

Arwa is severely injured in an accident. Ehab starts writing down Chaim's life story. Adel grows suspicious of Fares. Nadim calls Samy and informs him that Ehab isn't his son, and Samy immediately calls Ehab to inquire whether he has received a similar call.

Mariam tells Karim that Hassan won't easily give up his rights. Sheikh Hady tries to convince Wafaa to wed her daughter Hauraa to Ali, but she still refuses. Nadim stipulates that Hossam kill Jawad and Ali if he really wants out of the Mossad. Ehab stands by his wife Arwa after her accident.

Ehab feels that the Mossad suspect him when they prevent him from traveling. Wafaa vows to disown Hauraa if she insists on marrying Ali. Jawad's health goes downhill. Samy threatens to report Ehab to the Mossad.

Ehab encourages Chaim to record the rest of his life story on cassette tapes, and he communicates to the Mossad that he has to travel, otherwise, Reem will commit suicide. Hossam tells Jawad he has heart disease, and Jawad aims a gun at him.

Hossam's betrayal is revealed, and he confesses that he was forced into his business with the Mossad. Ehab poisons Samy and runs away with Reem. Both Ehab and Reem return to Jawad, Ehab's real father. Hizbullah negotiate with the Mossad for the exchange of prisoners.
