Dr. Hanan is the owner of a well-known hospital. She is a divorcée living with her mother and her children. Her maid Zahra is married to a delinquent man who beats her and tries to kick his children out. Hanan's mother tries to help Zahra.
Hanan is involved in illegal business and is connected to a mafia that kidnaps children and distributes drugs. She tries to recruit Zahra's husband Ammar to deal drugs. The children of the Ancient Neighborhood meet to discuss their living conditions.
The gang kidnaps a group of children, including some of the Ancient Neighborhood's, and sets them to sell drugs in front of schools. Hanan looks for girls younger than 25 years to send them to Gulf countries. Ammar accepts Hanan's offer.
A girl enlists Hanan's help in aborting her baby after her parents refuse to let her marry her boyfriend. When the girl dies on the table, Hanan covers it up. The kidnapped children are severely abused and terrorized as the gang gouged out a child's eye, claiming that he is ill.
When Asmaa dies, Hasouna tries to figure out a way to harvest her organs. Zahra is helpless when Ammar forces his son to work in the streets and agrees to wed his daughter to an elderly man. Asmaa's mother learns that her daughter is missing, as a group of parents reports their children missing.
Asmaa's body is discovered. The journalist Haitham joins the police in investigating the various abduction and organ harvest cases. Waleed is accused of killing his girlfriend.
As the press reports on a gang that kidnaps poor children and harvest their organs, the cops try to find the gang. Ammar's new riches are noticed. Hanan's son starts a romantic relationship with his classmate. His sister is involved with Feras who distributes drugs in college.
The gang tries to manipulate Haitham to cover their tracks. The children try to find a way back to their parents. Hanan's son wants to marry his girlfriend. Hasouna keeps watch on Haitham and his cop friend.
Ammar tries to recruit one of his friends. The gang threatens Haitham by sending him photos of his house, his wife and his son. The children's attempt to return to their families fail.
Haitham continues reporting on the gang despite his wife's warning. The cops call in the doctor who aborted Asmaa. Hasouna overdoses.
Kamal investigates Ammar. Hanan dislikes her son's girlfriend and tries to humiliate her. Haitham is close to uncovering the gang's connection to an international mafia.
Hanan's son meets his girlfriend's family. The gang kidnaps Haitham's son and warns Haitham that they'll kill him if Haitham doesn't drop his investigation.
Hasouna sends a video of her sleeping son to Haitham's wife and tells her to prevent Haitham from publishing his article. Haitham looks for his article to give to Hasouna. Hanan threatens her son's girlfriend.
Hasouna refuses to give Haitham's son back despite Haitham's compliance with their demands. Hanan's daughter discovers that she is pregnant. Haitham's wife breaks down and is transferred to the hospital.
Hanan is angry when she discovers that her daughter's girlfriend is dealing drugs. Zahra's daughter goes to work in a Gulf country.
Zahra tries to get Hanan to bring her daughter back when she discovers that she was used by a prostitution ring. The children go to the police and tell them everything. Lotfy leaves the house after a fight with Hanan over her rejection of his girlfriend.
The cops attack the gang's lair and find Haitham's son Ziad. Hanan and Hasouna are afraid of being arrested. Zahra's daughter comes home. Hasouna escapes.
The gang members are questioned and charged with murder and organ trafficking. The cops interrogate Hanan when Kamal learns that Hasouna works for her. The doctor who killed Asmaa is arrested.
Hanan escapes after her involvement in organ trafficking is discovered. She discovers that Hasouna is the mafia's boss, and that her mother and her ex-husband are all members of the gang.
The children return home. Hasouna tells Hanan that her father saved him as a child and that he was in love with her,
Hanan questions her mother about her involvement with the Mafia. They leave Tunisia to continue their criminal activities elsewhere.
