The film chronicles the life of Jesus Christ, as it begins with the Roman conquest of Jerusalem in 65 B.C. King Herod was appointed king of Jerusalem, and Jesus was born in Bethlehem as some Jews acknowledge Christ as their Savior. As Jesus grows up, he begins preaching his message.
