Ahmed Al Helbawy owns a large plot of land in the countryside, but he is stingy with the farmers and scolds his wife Farida for her extravagance. His son, Magdy, takes care of the land and asks to marry Nimah. The marriage takes place, but she suffers humiliation and mistreatment from his family, while Magdy is unable to protect her.
