Henna breaks out of jail with the help of Anas. Mourad is killed in his office. Amina, Hashem’s sister, runs away with Nash'at on her wedding night. Qamar interrogates Victoria to learn about how Henna escaped. Azmy orders for the guard to be tortured for letting Henna escape.
Henna arrives home feeling sickly. News arrives of Anas being Mourad's murderer. The Ruler assigns Jad to travel to Syria, and Hashem is looking for his sister Amina, the run-away bride. Three concubines run away from the harem. The Governer offers a reward for whoever finds Anas.
Some men beat up Amina’s brother because of her. Azmy orders that all activities in the harem be halted until the investigation ends. Qamar orders an abortion for the concubine who got impregnated by a cloth merchant. The Governer disputes with the consul for crossing him. Raslan reports Anas.
Henna goes to the harem to threaten Qamar. The concubines fight in the harem. When Nash'at goes to visit his family, his father advises him to travel somewhere far away. When Nash'at comes back, he gets beat up and Amina runs away. Qamar instructs Somaya to watch Yaqout.
Anas threatens Azmy that he is going to tell the truth. Hashem realizes that his brother Raslan reported his friend Anas. Nash'at fails to find Amina. Salim tells Qamar to send him Farida after the party.
Hashem and Raslan quarrel over what Raslan did to Anas. Zumurruda tells Qamar that Nesma is in love with Yehia. Qamar appoints Layla as the supervisor of the harem. Henna decides to buy a house and live in Syria. As soon as Jad arrives in Syria, he starts the search for Mourad's killer.
Jad seeks news about Hamdy and Hashem's family. As he investigates Mourad Pasha's murder, he learns that the deceased was a hard worker but his interest in women had changed him. Jad orders Azmy to arrest Henna and to not return without her. Jad interrogates Raslan, and Azmy arrests Nash'at.
Jad interviews Qamar about Henna's prison escape. Nazly tries to convince Jad to get married, but he has not forgotten about his wife and children. Amer sends letters to his lover. Raslan attempts to take control of Nash'at's father's shop, and Martin sets the cotton on fire.
A young man notices that Amina is lost and helps her work for Nafisa, while Nash'at is still looking for her. Hashem's lover is pregnant with his child. Azmy arrests and tortures Hashem to reveal Henna's whereabouts. Raslan buys a shop and Martin escapes from the guards.
Hashem's mother exposes her children and Hamdy in front of the entire neighborhood. A concubine hides Martin, and Nazly goes to the market to pick a new concubine. Henna enters Qamar's room and steals something from her. Helal and Nash'at get into a brawl.
Helal sets Nash'at on fire right in the middle of the neighborhood. It turns out that Henna has stolen Qamar's money. Amina cries as she senses that Nash'at has died, and his mother dies grieving his death. Henna is reflecting on adding Hashem to her list of allies.
Yaqout wants to cut Amira's hair. Jad asks Hekmat to throw a big celebration on the occasion of the circumcision of the Sultan's son. Amira attempts to commit suicide, but the concubines save her. Hashem asks the Sheikh for money.
Jad's assistant interviews Amira. Qamar orders Farida not to go over to Salim. Zumurruda tries to form a close relationship with Jad, as per Qamar's instructions. When Salim takes Farida and goes away, Qamar complains about his action to Azmy.
Jad sends the guards to bring Salim in. Qamar orders Amira to gather as much information as possible from Hawwas. When Fathiya is murdered, Qamar suspects Victoria and the 'crazy woman'. Amer asks for Karaza's hand in marriage, but her father declines.
Jad throws a party at his home. Amer warns Qamar about the taxes. Salim seeks to take revenge on Qamar, and she meets him to apologize. Hashem starts to work with Hamdy, and Victoria admits her love for Martin.
Jad gathers all the guards and instructs them to be more attentive during the cotton harvest season. Hamdy introduces Hashem to Salim and Victoria, and the latter becomes Henna's spy at the inn. Jad orders Salim and Azmy to impose new taxes on the people. Henna sets the inn on fire.
Raslan proposes that Ibrahim become his partner in his money forging business. Helal asks Hekmat for half of the profits. Helal, Raslan, and Amer agree to report Hekmat and take control of his shop. Henna asks Hashem to work with her and be her protector.
Raslan learns about Ibrahim's plot to kill him. Qamar instructs Zumurruda to retrieve important documents from Jad's office. Helal reconciles with Hekmat and returns to work. Nafisa asks to meet Salim. Nazly hits Zumurruda for criticizing the government and the Ruler.
Salim visits his mother Nafisa. Laymoun, who is spying on Farida, follows her to Ibrahim's house. Hamdy makes amends for Hashem. Jad's medallion gets stolen and Hawwas finds it under one of the concubines' beds.
Helal and Hadiya plan to set Hekmat up as Hadiya casts a magic spell on him. Hekmat tells Raslan that he no longer wants to work with Helal. Amer withdraws his police report against Hekmat. Zumurruda kills Yasmina before she could scandalize her. Hashem agrees to protect Henna.
Qamar searches the prison cells for Martin, and it turns out that he has run away. Jad seeks Sheikh Reda's help to get the people to accept paying the new taxes. Helal opens a new cotton shop. The odalisques find Yasmina's corpse under Jad's bed.
Jad interviews the concubines about Yasmina's murder. Qamar knows about Farida's visits to Ibrahim. Martin tells Victoria that he is a Russian undercover agent called Sascha. Farida tells Qamar about Ibrahim and Zuhdy's money forging business.
Azmy finds out that Yasmina is buried in the basement. Baana is abducted. Hadiya thinks of getting a divorce and returning to her family, but Helal urges her to wait. Fawwaz apologizes to Qamar. Victoria sneaks Martin out to Henna's place.
Raslan and Hekmat dissolve their business. Jad orders Zuhair's arrest. Henna asks Hashem to marry her and to take her back to the inn to kill Qamar. The guards still cannot find Baana. Hadiya asks Helal to kill Hekmat. Amer agrees to work with Caren. Azmy arrests Ibrahim and Zuhdy.
Amina tries to persuade Essam to divorce his wife and marry her. Victoria asks Martin to get married. Henna places worms in the meals. Azmy and Salim decide to start up a money-forging business. Raslan mixes a sedative with the incense and takes Narjis to his room.
Victoria considers running away with Martin. Raslan rapes sleep-drugged Narjis. Hashem learns about Martin's identity. Raslan cannot find Ibrahim and Zuhdy. Essam marries Amina, and Hashem marries Henna. Qamar assigns Helal to kill Henna. Jad is shot.
Azmy interrogates Jad's shooter and finds out that Zuhair's men were behind this plot. Henna learns about Qamar's plan to kill her. Qamar is inclined to buy new concubines. Laymoun strangles Farida in her sleep. Hashem's mother suspects that he got married.
Amina is pregnant. Raslan finds Amina's whereabouts and releases her when she gives him the gold. Martin gets detained. Raslan finds out about Ibrahim and Zuhdy. Jad orders Azmy to hang his shooters. Zumurruda is pregnant with Jad's baby, and Narjis with Raslan's.
Rostom seeks to get acquainted with Layla. Martin is executed. Hadiya finds Hekmat hung in his room. Hashem learns that Qamar visits Caren. Qamar finally admits the reason she imprisoned Henna. Jad finds out about Azmy and Salim's money forging. Helal takes Ibrahim and Zuhdy in for a confession.
The guards sneak Qamar out. Salim confesses about Qamar's misconduct. Henna is proven innocent. Amer is promoted to Assistant Head of the government's House of Documentation. Jad orders the execution of Salim and Azmy. Narjis throws boiling oil on Raslan, burning his hand. Hazem asks to see Jad.
