Adel lives alone after his only daughter, Maryam, marries her colleague Samir against his wishes. Five years later, Maryam sends him a voice recording, begging him to forgive her and telling him she has a beautiful daughter named Abeer, who wishes to meet her grandfather, the honorable judge. She asks him to be gentle with her and agree to see her.
