Zach is arrested and interrogated in an attempt to locate the gang leader. El Nasser gets questioned. When Marwa's grandmother dies, Marwa is left to live with her sister. Shawky goes missing.

Shawky and his friend are found as they try to flee to Italy. As El Nasser's lawyer arrives at the detention center to converse with him, the police officer eavesdrops on their conversation. Marwa fears for Reham when the latter passes out.

Marwa reconciles with Shawky. Reham gets lost along with her male friends. As a mafia lawyer takes Zach's case, he refuses to give her information as he distrusts her.

Shawky and Shakulu meet Marwan in prison. The doctor tries to help Shafiq at the hospital. When Marwan gets released from prison, he goes to the nightclub where he meets his replacement.

Marwa reflects on her grandmother's death and how she and her sister were left alone, only for her uncle to try and seize the house in the wake of her grandmother's death. Ayman asks his mother to help Marwa by getting her a job with Enas's father as a secretary.

Ayman recalls how Marwa stood by him when he was paralyzed. As Shafiq's wife leaves him, Shafiq visits his son and gives him money. Reham catches feelings for Shakulu. Shawky tries to give Marwa money.

As Shafiq starts a new company, the police detain him on the road. With Marwa's support, Ayman starts walking again. Shawky rents a shop for his father.

As the lawyer visits the prison, Zach is ordered to use an injection to kill an inmate; however, he gets investigated by the prison police. Shawky excels in his work. Marwa and her sister struggle to deal with their uncle and his wife's ill-treatment.

Ayman goes out with Marwa and promises to marry her once he completed his recovery. Marwa's uncle brings an expert to evaluate the house and set a price for it. Shafiq meets Lassad and enlists his help with his new project.

As Sayed Ahmed's stationery office gets ready, he and Safiya go to see it. Marwa meets his friend and cuts back on her visits to Ayman, but the latter's mother begs her to visit them.

Ayman gives Marwa money to buy her uncle's share of the house. Shawky tells his friend that he loves Marwa and wants to marry her. When Mariam finds Shafiq talking to her manager at the company, she leaves the lawyer a message, revealing his location.

Emad gets close to his cousin. Enas's father grows concerned when she changes her behavior with Emad, whom she asks not to leave her. As Ayman visits Marwa's house, Reham resents his presence. Enas's father asks Marwa to talk to Emad about Enas.

As Zach gets released, Amira waits for him and drives him to his new house, where he finds his mother. El Nasser asks Amira for information about Zach. Ayman asks his mother to ask for Marwa's hand. Enas grows depressed and starts smoking, much to her parents' grief.

When Enas leaves the house, her father calls the police. Khaled looks for the file on Zach and Amira El Kafy, who was presumed dead, as he grows to suspect that there was a plot to get Zach released. When Marwa goes out with Ayman, Shawky sees them together.

As Mehrez gets fired, he is left bereft as he needs money for his sick father. Emad continues to look for Zach. Enas remains missing. As Marwa visits Ayman's house, he gets her presents and records their meeting.

The attorney general shows Emad the case file on Zach and Amira, revealing the police's plan to bring down Amira, El Nasser, and Zach, and putting Emad in charge of the investigation. Khaled finds his daughter in a nightclub and brings her home as he discovers that she has become an addict.

Mehrez starts stealing cars. Ayman has plans to go to the US to study directing. Shafiq disapproves of his son's marriage to Marwa. Amira and Zach grow angry when the news about the inmate's death in prison starts to spread.

As Ayman prepares to leave the country, he has dinner with Marwa and leaves her money with his mother. Mehrez continues to steal cars to secure enough money for his father's surgery. Emad searches the files as he takes charge of Zach's case. El Nasser starts dealing with Shafiq.

Mehrez's father passes away. When Ayman leaves, Aliaa asks Marwa to forget about her son and tells her that she is ill-suited for him, which causes Marwa to pass out. Emad rushes Marwa to the hospital.

When Mariam tells Shafiq that Hamid will compromise the integrity of the buildings by tampering with the materials, Shafiq thanks her and asks her to keep an eye on the office. Aliaa goes out with a guy she met online. Marwa's spirits plummet in the wake of Aliaa's hurtful words to her.

Amira visits Shafiq's office in the disguise of an engineer called Amal, offering him to collaborate with her for a fixed percentage of profit. Ahmed learns that he was unfair when he accused Shakulu of theft. Marwa and Enas meet at a coffee shop.

When Marwa learns that she is pregnant, her plan to have an abortion is foiled when the doctor tells her that it's too late to have one. When Amira discovers that Zach knows Shafiq, she informs El Nasser about it. Zach moves into Ramzy's house.

Hamid learns that Mariam is the one who revealed his scheme to Shafiq. When Shawky proposes to Marwa, she reveals that she is carrying Ayman's baby, but Shawky insists on marrying her. Zach tries to learn of the movement of the network that Amira works for.

As Shawky informs his family that he will wed Marwa, they celebrate their engagement in Marwa's house. Ayman unsuccessfully tries to contact Marwa, who loses the baby after she falls down. El Nasser gives Shafiq a large sum of money.

When Ayman returns from the US and tries to meet Marwa, she refuses to go out with him. Shawky quarrels with Marwa and tells her that he won't marry her. El Nasser sends Ramzy to spy on Shafiq.

Marwa is saddened by her separation from Shawky, who returns home drunk. When Ayman is unable to find the photos, he asks his mother to look for them, only to discover that her boyfriend has stolen and sold them, leaving him to learn about his mother's relationship with her boyfriend.

Marwa visits Sayed Ahmed to ask for forgiveness, revealing that El Nasser is a criminal. Shafiq meets Marwa and asks her to spy on El Nasser to get evidence of his guilt. Shawky tells Shakulu that he won't deal drugs again.

Ayman quarrels with his mother and leaves for his father's house. El Nasser confronts Shafiq with the recordings and photos he has to force Shafiq to work for him. Marwa mistakenly believes that Shawky is in a relationship with another. Zach starts cooperating with the police against the gang.

As Shawky prepares to travel to Italy in secret, Emad looks for him, which makes Marwa angry. Shafiq withdraws all his money from the bank and prepares to go to Italy. Aliaa discovers that her boyfriend took all her money. Ayman goes back to the US and leaves a video message for Marwa.

When Amira learns that Zach is working for the police, she flees to Paris as Shafiq goes to Italy. El Nasser is arrested as he tries to leave for Rome. Marwa grows sad when she sees Ayman's message,
