After spending 10 years in a passionless relationship with her partner David who finally proposes, Sally starts to realize how she lost the spark in her life, as it triggers her to take drastic actions.

As Sally hooks up with the bohemian artist Emma, she finds herself in a dilemma as her traditional parents are coming to visit her, and she doesn't know how to break the news to them.

As Sally's business starts to pick up, she has a hard time dealing with Emma who becomes too clingy. Things take a turn when Sally is invited to dinner by old friends, as she takes Emma with her.

When David's father passes away, things go south when Sally attends the funeral and ends up clashing with Eleanor for flirting with a divorced guy. Things don't go smoothly when Emma gets a part in Dan's film, but she manages to turn things around.

Sally lands in trouble with her boss Deborah who thinks that Emma is a bad influence on her. David tells Sally that he's in a new relationship. As Sally and Emma go to a therapy session, they decide to make important decisions.

As Emma insists on going with Sally to her business event at a hotel, things take a turn when Deborah tells her that she will share a room with Sally.

As Sally and Emma tie the knot, they spend their honeymoon in a Scottish hotel. But things take a surprising turn when Sally finds out that she's pregnant.
