A local fisherman finds an injured man by the Thai sea, where thousands of Rohingya migrants drowned. He gives him the name Thongchai, offers to be his friend, and saves him. But after the fisherman abruptly vanishes at sea, Thongchai gradually starts to take over all aspects of his friend's life, including his job, home, and former spouse.
