Set against the backdrop of the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Summer Olympics. Ana, 32, is a public defender who defends a community that the Olympic Park's construction threatens to uproot. As she observes purple, fungal-like patches on her body, unusual events occur in the city as the air becomes stuffy and muggy and the temperature rises.
