Lotfi, a Tunisian immigrant, lives in the French city of Marseille, where he gets lucky enough to open a store selling electronic devices. Lotfi, along with his French wife Sophie, is expecting a baby, but a tragic incident forces him to return to Tunisia and has him confront the past he has fled from, which is his son Youssef, whom he has abandoned.
