The episode showcases life in Syria. Salam's husband gets kidnapped and the kidnappers ask her to put a bag of toxic gases in the conference room of a hospital. She tries to negotiate with the kidnappers in order to save the lives of her husband and those at the hospital.

The police are able to find the bomb in time. Salam gets arrested and interrogated. Nur finds pictures of her fiancé with another woman, and he tells her the he doesn't love her anymore. Sarab blames her husband for leaving her and her daughter and later receives a disturbing video.

Salam goes to Mona to see her son, Rami. Nehad, Rawan's neighbor, and her mother, tell them about how Nehad's father left them to go to Germany. Salam recalls the kidnapping of her husband.

Murad pays Hossam a visit to make sure he's fine. Ghaith visits Salam and Rami and they ask him to finish the funeral arrangements but he is facing problems with getting the death certificate. Abu Ghasan harasses Seba. Jalal sends Sarab money, and she blames him for being away from her.

Nihad receives good news, but then her mother-in-law's house catches on fire. Sarab calls Jalal but he is distant. Salam gives Rami a mobile before he goes to school. She tries to open Nader's laptop to find any information.

Nur is pregnant and when she confides to the father, he avoids her completely. Abu Bara offers Seba his help. Salam tries to find out any information about the kidnappers. Sarab feels lonely and abandoned.

War and demolition in Syria continue, as Salam and Sarab suffer without their husbands. Hossam and his wife invite Sarab over for dinner. Seba is crying over the absence of her father. Salam turns to drinking to deal with her suffering. Sarab gets upset when her daughter is out late.

Marawan takes his gun and leaves. Hossam and Nihad quarrel. Salam panics when she finds Rami holding her phone. Seba's mother misses her son, Eyad. Nihad reproaches Youssef for not caring about anything.

Salam and Rami are in despair after losing her husband. Sarab is worried about her only daughter. Nihad feels like she will never be able to have children. Salam decides to return to her work at the hospital. Seba and her family are asked to leave their house.

Salam suffers from her shaking arms and is unable perform operations. Hossam gives Sarab a novel and asks her to read it. Seba's colleague asks her to stop stealing. Nur is pregnant and reaches out to Jamal for help.

Youssef asks Nihad to use her gallery to store some of his art. Nihad tries to convince him not to blame himself for Maha's death. Salam is still drinking heavily. Seba's mother asks her about the situation with her uncle and his request for them to leave the house. The kidnapper calls Youssef.

Marwan and Ghasan get involved in a public confrontation. Nur experiences complications in her pregnancy and Youssef gets her to the hospital. Sarab reminisces about her husband. Marwan's plans are disrupted when the area is raided by the police.

Sarab finishes reading Hossam's story and he asks for her opinion. Nihad accompanies her mother to the hospital. Salam finds a gun in the house. Kayan visits Nur in the hospital. Nur thanks Youssef for his support by keeping her pregnancy secret. Hossam hints to Sarab about his feelings towards her.

Rami disappears and Sarab panics when she is unable to find him. Marwan asks for his gun from Salam. Seba and her uncle go to a lavish party and meet with Youssef there. Seba asks Rabei Hamdan to find her brother.

Seba's uncle tells her to comply with Rabei's requests in order to find her brother. Youssef confesses to Sarab his feelings and she calls her husband to ask him if he still loves her. Youssef tries to get a passport to be able to travel at any time.

Youssef is disappointed when his novel doesn't get published. A murder puts Marwan in a difficult position. Kinan recalls the murder and tells Hala and his daughter about it. Seba tries to reach Youssef and Police Officer Saeed wants to help them.

Sarab gets involved in an affair with Hossam, and her daughter can't find her. Salam finds out some disturbing information from Nur. Hossam keeps the affair a secret from Nihad. Salam takes a flash memory from Nur and quickly saves the information on the hospital computer.

Sarab goes to Nihad, who suffers from her mother's amnesia. Kinan buys things for Murad. Youssef is almost killed and threatened to not disclose anything about the hard drive. Rawan, upon seeing her mother in despair, calls her father to confront him. Seba gets arrested and her mother breaks down.

Jamil meets with Salam and Ghaith, the lawyer. Jamil devises a plan to prove Seba's innocence and promises her that he will get her out of prison. Nur tells Kinan that she loves him like a brother. Jamil manages to fulfill his promise to Seba, and she goes to see her mother at the hospital.

Sarab goes to the theatre and discovers that her daughter is studying acting instead of law. Nur confesses her feelings for Youssef and Kinan is heartbroken. Rawan tries to get closer to her mother, Sarab. Murad hides his illness from Nur. Salam offers her support to Marwan.

Rawan insists that she will continue to study acting. Anas takes advantage of his work as a nurse to get involved in illegal activity. Marwan helps Rami in his studies. Jamil asks Seba to agree to Rabea Hamdan's requests. Nihad discovers the relationship between Hossam and Sarab.

Nihad kicks Hossam out of the house. Nur goes out with Youssef and gets emotional when she sees Jamal in a cafe. Salam tries to find clues regarding Nader's kidnapping. Nur's father visits his wife's grave. Majd calls Sarab about Rawan. Youssef and Nur insist on putting Nur's father in the hospital.

Hossam calls Sarab to check up on Rawan and she goes to his house. Jamil takes Seba to Rabea Hamdan and she asks him what he wants of her. Youssef confesses to Nur's father that he feels close to her. Seba asks Rabea to protect her from Jamil, and she receives shocking news.

Sarab meets Nihad, who asks her about Galal and Rawan. Hossam returns from abroad. Sarab is surprised by Galal's return, and he tells her he received a message from Rawan. Salam discovers that patients are leaving the country abroad. Somaya confronts the nurse, Anas and asks him for money.

Salam receives Somaya at the hospital and mistreats her, resulting in a mysterious incident. Rabea confirms to Seba the tragic news about Eyad. The hospital management asks Salam to leave the hospital to avoid problems with authority. Youssef finds Kinan who admits to him his feelings for Nur.

Majd tries to convince Sarab to let Rawan continue her studies. Sarab tells Rawan about her father's return. Hossam is upset when he goes home and doesn't find Nihad, resulting in an emotional confrontation. Saeed decides to follow Somaya and makes a shocking discovery, and he gets attacked.

Nihad meets with Jalal and he invites her over, which angers Sarab. Marwan arranges for Salam and Rami to go to Beirut, but Salam insists on revenge for Saeed and Nader. Marwan tells Salam about Nader's involvement in criminal activities. Sarab makes excuses for her affair with Hossam to Nihad.

Nur prepares for her and Youssef's wedding. Salam tells Ghaith what happened with the organ traffickers. Marwan tells her that he found them. Hossam compliments Nihad at Youssef's art exhibit. The Police arrest the Hospital Director who tells them about Nader. Salam operates on a small child.

Ghaith tells Saraab about the new law that allows Syrians to travel without a chaperone. Youssef is kidnapped and tortured to admit where the hard drive is. Rabei and Seba find recordings about trafficking weapons to Palestine. Salam discovers that Marwan is involved in her husband's murder.

Salam decides not to murder Marwan. Jamil is arrested when Rabei mentions his name as part of the weapon-trafficking ring. Sarab asks Jalal for divorce. Nihad doesn't forgive Hossam. Jamil begs Sondos to prove his innocence. Nur marries Youssef .Salam and Rami go to Canada. Marwan commits suicide.
