Hagar is a beautiful woman in her 30s and looking for a job, but she didn't complete her education because she married a man who was 15 years older than her, and focused on raising her child. Her brother Ghazi is very violent. She finally gets hired in a big company.

Malik is an irresponsible playboy, his father, Mansour, a businessman, doesn't mind putting him in jail so he can become a better person. Hagar wants to live away from Ghazi. Omar tries to get Malik out of jail.

Ghazi abuses Fatma and takes advantage of her, although he knows she loves him. Every time Ghazi and Fatma fight, Hagar remembers her failed marriage with her abusive husband. When Asia goes to pick Youssef up from school, she doesn't find him, the police tells her that they will look for him.

Ghazi continue to beat Fatma. Asia and Kanan are worried about Youssef, they decide to go to the police station to follow up on the investigation, they are told that the police are still looking. Malik is bailed out of jail, his mom welcomes him at home but his dad kicks him out because he's fed up with his behavior.

Asia breaks down after seeing Youssef’s bag. She faints and then she is taken to the hospital. Ghazi continue to humiliate Fatma even in front of her workplace. She finally breaks her silence and threatens him that she leaves work and that he won’t be able to take money from her anymore. Malik goes to Ali’s house as a final resort.

Hagar realizes that her daughter has grown up, but she is worried about her. Malik is mistreating Ali, who is letting him stay with him. Ali tells him that he wants to help him avoid having a corrupt youth like his. They get closer. Asia is still in the hospital. Doctors warn from telling her any bad news. Kanaan wants to tell her about Youssef, he is surprised that she has tried to kill herself.

Kanaan has nightmares about Asia’s suicide and death. Asia returns home, but she doesn’t speak or eat. Malik became a quieter and a more reasonable person. He tries to go back to his father’s house, but the later doesn’t agree. Amena, Hagar’s colleague, steals Hagar’s idea for an event and the administration is impressed by it.

Malik and Omar grow really close together, like father & son. Hagar’s manager assigns her and Omneya to a organize a conference and its after party, which Omneya plots to use to show herself over Hagar. Asia’s getting better, but she falls apart every now & then for imagining to see Yousef.

Omar speaks to Malik from the heart how he need to avoid leading a life like his, and end up lonely. Malik’s attached to Omar; cares for him and insists to see a doctor. Fatma realized she hasn’t saved a penny from all her years of working, so she starts a side job as a makeup artist, and doesn’t tell Ghazi. Asia begins to accept reality, and tells Kanan to resume their life.

Hagar sneaks into her mom’s homs when she fears staying alone in the dark. Asia resumes her work; she keeps seeing every child as Yousef, but tries to hold it together. Fatma tells Hagar about her side job, so she encourages her and gives her a professional makeup kit as a present., which Fatma hides from Ghazi.

Shihab, Hagar’s ex-husband threatens to take Layal from her if she doesn’t move back to her mom’s house; she takes her to work as she fears he’d kidnap her. Malik’s enraged when Omar takes him to a therapist, and leaves his house, to stay with Kanan, his half brother. Omneya steals some documents from Hagar, and harasses her in every way possible.

Kanan and Malik feel like strangers, but try to work it out; Malik shares he suspects having bi-polar disorder, and Kanan shares his burden over Yousef and Asia with him. Fatma learns she’s pregnant after 14 years of marriage; she tells Hagar how she’s worried about this baby from Ghazi’s violence, and Hagar encourages her to take a stand. Shihab takes Layal from school without telling Hagar.

Ghazi’s enraged to see Hagar’s face on a billboard, so he beats Fatma into telling him where she lives. Hagar doesn’t know anything about it, and he kicks Fatma when she tries to fend for her, so she tells him Fatma’s pregnant. Hagar learns that Omneya’s behind the billboard Ad. Fatma tries to have an abortion.

As Malik tries to clear his name of the charge, he starts with Omar a library project where they use all the books at Omar’s house to educate the neighborhood's young adults. Asia starts having hallucinations all the time. Omneya hides away Hagar’s car and phone, while the event is on the next day.

when Ghazi comes to take Hagar after her car’s stolen, he breaks down into teras, as he’s been terrified of the coming baby to be like a payback at what he’s done to his wife and family. Asia commits herself to a facility to get help with her worsening condition. Hagar sees her car next to the event’s menu, and finds Omneya’s earring next to it.

Hagar confronts Omneya of her deeds, but the latter manages to lock her up in a storage room to keep her away from the event. Omar take Malik to his father’s house; he later comes out all shaken-up as his father mistreats him. Ghazi apologizes to his mom, and promises to become a better person to her and Fatma.

Omar learns that Malik doesn’t take his medicine. A photographer hears Hagar’s cries for help; she’s out but totally hysterical, she rages Omneya publicly before everyone. Omar visits Kanan with Malik, and he brings up Yousef, but Omar suspects him and feels he’s hiding something.

Hagar take Layal to the hospital, and Ghazi follows her with Fatma, who sees one of her clients beaten up half dead by her husband. When Omar shares his intuitions about Kanan, Malik suspects he might be behind Yousef’s disappearance. Asia meets an old frined who works at the facility, and reminds her how she listened to her mom and hid her engagement news from her thinking she’d be jealous.

Fatma defends her client, Reham, before her abusive husband and kicks him out of the hospital. Asia confides in Laila, and tells her she suspects Kanan has a hand in Yousef’s disappearance, and Laila helps secretly discharges her so they can together find the truth. Ghazi’s new person. Malik hurts Omar feelings, and goes back home to find him unconscious.

Malik feels guilty after he takes Omar to the hospital, and sincerely apologizes to him. Ghazi & Fatma help Riham to get a divorce. Asia agrees with Laila to secretly sneak from the facility until she finds out the truth. Kanan recalls what happened when he told Yousef to play a game of hide & seek with his mom, and he took him and hid him away.

Kanan searches for Asia everywhere, so she calls Laila in fear he’d find her. Malik started the library project, and people of all ages started flowing in. A famous actress calls Fatma asking her to do makeup for the cast of her play. Hagar talks Ghazi into allowing her to travel with her friend Asrar.

Laila convinces Asia to go back to Kanan to keep an eye on him, and told her to search his parents house for evidence; Kanan sees her searching the house. Hind cuts a deal with Fatema to be her official makeup artist, and this should be good publicity for her; she misses a date with Ghazi because of work, and asks Riham about her.

Ghazi suspects Fatema when she tells him she was with Riham. Asia meets Malik at the library and shares her suspicions with him, which he and Omar share with her, so she asks for their help; Kanan is packing to leave the country. Omar wants to surprise Malik with publishing his writings. Shihab threatens Haidy’s family and takes Layal.

Omar doesn’t want Malik to help Asia, as he fears his brother Kanan would hurt him, nor for Malik to yield to Laila’s encouragement to help Asia. Ghazi continues to suspect Fatema after she lied to him saying she was out with her friend, Safaa, while he called Safaa to confirm that she was not.

Shihab drags Layal from Ghazi’s house. Omar objects to Malik helping Asia, who plots with Omar to invite his parents over so he can search their house for documents related to Kanan; he does accompanied by Laila. An explosion takes place near Asrar & Hagar, who’s rescued and taken to the hospital.

Ghazi starts watching Fatema, while they all go to be with Hagar at the hospital. Laila tries to express her admiration to Malik. Asia’s devastated upon learning Kanan’s secrets; her father married his mother when she & his father were divorced. Ghazi beats Fatema when he confronts her with her lies. Malik’s father finally forgives him.

Mansour tells them that he knew all along about Asia being Kanan’s step sister, and Laila told them that she was his sweetheart until he decided to marry Asia to get even after his mother left him to marry Asia’s father. Fatema asks for a divorce, and moved in with Hagar who explained everything to Ghazi. Malik’s officially acquitted.

Asia reaches Kanan’s mother’s old house with Malik’s aid, to find Yousef there with a nanny; they take him to Omar’s, while Kanan’s plotting another problem for Asia, as he’s deluded with misogyny because of his mother. Hagar’s traumatized by Asrar’s death, and keeps texting her number, only to receive a reply one day. Fatema dismisses Ghazi’s attempts for reconciliation.

Asia surprises Kanan with his mother’s photo and confronts him with everything; he admits he wanted to make her suffer with everyone who ever hurt him. Hagar meets the person who responded to her texts, which inspired him to write poems, and they both click. Malik saves Asia from Kanan’s attempting to kill her; years later she’s grateful for what he did for her.

Malik’s injured when he saved Asia, and Omar leaves him the library. Hagar takes Fatema and Layal to her poet friends reciting night, where he reveals his feelings for her, but she turns him down. Years pass by: Malik marries Laila, takes care of Yousef, and expands the library; Layal’s TV presenter; Hagar gets her doctorate; Fatema’s a famous makeup artist, devoted to her daughter.
