Maysir wakes up after having a nightmare about people running after him because he is a thief. Taboush talks with Abu Saleh (Saleh's father) about the lady that Taboush wants to marry, while Marwa returns to her family's house after having a quarrel with her co-wife.

As Maysir looks for work, he fails in plumbing and decides to work in washing the dead despite his panic, but he is shocked that the dead man is alive.

Saleh finds a job as a hairdresser for women, and after his failure, the police arrest the owner of the salon, while Maysir finds a job as a cemetery guard and is intimidated by a gang to leave the place.

Maysir's wife takes advantage of his panic to make him carry out her requests. Maysir trains with Saleh to use the stick in order to work as a performer at weddings. Sobhi is saddened by his father's wish to marry and his neglect of him.

Maysir loses his head during the wedding and flees after spoiling it, but he soon gets involved with the police. Fayez quarrels with Maysir because he is late in paying his debts.

As soon as Maysir starts working as a taxi driver, he runs over a passerby. Saeed comes to rent an apartment from Fayez and asks his family that he calls them his parents, and because he has the money, Fayez gets along with him.

Maysir takes his family on a car trip, but the car breaks down. Faiza quarrels with Fayez due to Maysir's being late in paying his debt. It turns out that Saeed has a mysterious target.

Saleh, Sobhi, Fayyad, and Simo meet at the house of the latter, who asks Fayyad to take revenge on the one who beat him. Maysir meets a beautiful girl while working and imagines their life together.

Without his father's knowledge, Saleh goes on a car trip with his girlfriend Souad, causing Maysir to believe the car has been stolen. As a result of Saleh's careless driving, the police arrest him, which gets Maysir involved.

Abu Souad asks Maysir to wed Saleh to his daughter in order to protect her reputation, so Maysir extorts money from him in exchange for the engagement, and Sobhi grieves because he loves Souad.

Saleh and Souad get engaged, and a quarrel occurs between Fatima and Souad's mother. Fayyad's love for Souad also becomes clear, and Maysir is looking for a new job to pay off his debts.

Souad returns to toy with Fayyad's feelings. Souad's mother complains about Saleh's repeated visits to them. Maysir takes Abu Sobhi to a nightclub, while the latter is looking for a lady to marry.

Fatima wonders about the source of Maysir's money, while Saleh begins to borrow from Abu Souad. The police arrest Fayez because of his involvement with the fraud Saeed, and Maysir intervenes to help him.

Fatima grumbles about the damage to her home’s appliances. Maysir is reconciled with Abu Sobhi after their quarrel. Marwa returns to her father’s house after an argument with her co-wife, Sumaya. Maysir borrows money from Fayez again.

Fatima quarrels with Maysir after he brings her a new washing machine. Hassan is sad about Ramzia's quarrel with him after seeing him with girls. Tariq tries to be reconciled with Marwa and Sumaya, while Souad confesses to Fayyad her love for him.

Sobhi flirts with Souad without Saleh's knowledge and admonishes her for saying yes to the engagement. Maysir gets close to a high-ranking policeman.

Maysir works as a guard at Wafi's house and pretends to speak a foreign language after watching a foreign film. Fayyad intervenes in the reconciliation between his parents. Hassan patches things up with Ramzia.

Maysir thwarts someone's attempt to rob the villa, whereupon he becomes more and more important to Wafi. After that, Wafi's relative visits him, and Maysir finds it hard to inspect him.

As Siham, Wafi's wife, returns home, he asks Maysir to hide his lover and convinces his wife that the girl is Maysir's wife, after which Wafi kicks Maysir out of the house. Fatima leaves the house. Souad forces Saleh to pay for the restaurant bill, while Abu Sobhi proposes to a girl.

Sobhi plans with Fayyad to break up the engagement of his father, who showers his fiancée with gifts. Maysir and Fatima mend fences, and he takes her home. Saleh forces Simo to pay the bill for him.

Souad continues to manipulate more young men. Maysir starts a chicken farming project on the house's roof and trades with Fayez. Hassan surprises Ramzia that he is from a wealthy family.

Marwa is surprised by Sumaya's tenderness with her children. Umm Souad (Souad's mother) accuses Saleh of stealing her daughter's money, which leads to a fist fight between her and Fatima. Saleh's family finds that water is leaking from the roof as a result of Maysir's neglect of Fatima's advice.

Souad and Saleh break up. Maysir starts a new job with Mounir in painting houses. Hassan prepares to propose to Ramzia.

Souad gets coquettish with Sobhi once more. Marwa tells her mother about Sumaya's good treatment of her. Sobhi continues his attempts to get close to his father, while Saleh admires the paint seller.

Mounir threatens to have Saleh imprisoned after discovering the presence of a stranger in his house. A quarrel occurs between Abu Souad and Fayez, while Lamis seeks to make Abu Sobhi kick his son out of his house after their marriage.

After he was shocked by his father's decision, Sobhi recalls his memories with his mother and her death. Fatima quarrels with Maysir again because he is unemployed, and Sumaya discovers that she is sterile.

Simo announces to his father that he wants to marry Katie. Maysir evades Mounir, and Umm Rania contacts him. As Abu Sobhi discovers that Lamis has deceived him, he ends their engagement and patches things up with his son. Ramzia talks to her mother about her relationship with Hassan.

Abu Sobhi decides to have his son married. Sumaya dies and leaves her inheritance to Tariq and Marwa. Saleh tells the foreign Christina of his love for her, while Fatima suspects that there is a relationship between the girl and Maysir.

Maysir works in a clothing store. After Mukhles agrees to wed Sobhi to Souad, Sobhi discovers that she has cheated on him and manipulated both him and Fayyad.

As Hassan comes to ask for Ramzia's hand in marriage, the police arrest Maysir due to a misunderstanding, and upon his return, he patches things up with Ramzia and travels abroad with his family after discovering that he has an inheritance in South Africa.
