A group of American friends travel to Sweden to visit the rural heartland of a mid-summer festival, but what appears to be a chance to relax ,slowly becomes a nightmare filled with hallucinations, especially after some of them are targeted by the leaders of a pagan cult.

Dani and Christian are a young American couple whose relationship is failing. Due to a tragic event in Dani's family, Christian invites her on a trip to a once-in-a-lifetime fairytale midsummer festival in a remote Swedish village. The holiday becomes increasingly unnerving when the insular villagers invite them to partake in their sinister rituals that take place once every 90 years.
