When matters in the company become challenging, Harvey and Zane frequently fight about who should be in charge of overseeing the firm's operations and tackling its current transitional phase.

Samantha and Katrina work on a case together. Samantha swears revenge on Scotty. Louis tries to convince everyone that his new client is dangerous. Alex tries to make sure his client puts his money into charity.

Donna's relationship makes Harvey and Alex's business more challenging. In an effort to prove Louis' innocence and win the lawsuit, Samantha resolves to assist him once more.

By establishing Harvey as the company's leader and taking back control of the situation, Hardman intends to have his license withdrawn. Robert intends to rename the structure of his business in honor of Hardman. Samantha tries to explain the truth about Harvey's feelings for Donna, but things get messy when Harvey kisses Samantha.
