As Salem and Badr graduate from college, the former considers traveling abroad to study, while Badr decides to complete his master's studies in his country and asks his uncle Saleh to help him with that through his stories about palm cultivation.
Badr tells Dr. Ahmed that he will be trained by his uncle Saleh because of his great experience in palm cultivation. As Khaled visits the house of his sister Sheikha, he remembers with Saleh the days of planting the farm with palms.
Salem asks his uncle, Badr's father, to mediate with his father until he agrees to the delegation abroad, but Saleh insists on his refusal and gives him the choice between traveling and cutting ties with him.
Salem's mother tries to persuade Saleh to agree to Badr's travel to the delegation. Saleh is surprised when his eldest daughter Maryam asks for a divorce from her husband for his desire to have many children, and her father rebukes her.
Rida tries to convince Salem not to travel so that he does not leave his father’s money for Karima and Hessa. Saleh agrees on the condition that Salem marries a Saudi girl before he travels. Maryam thinks about birth control and her father does not agree.
Badr helps uncle Saleh to search for a land to establish a farm on it. Sheikha rebukes her daughter, Hessa, for the gossip that caused problems at school. Saleh officially asks for Salha's hand for his son Salem in marriage.
Salha agrees to marry Salem, who prepares to travel. Rida informs Maryam of his concern over her father's money after Salem travels. Badr continues to work on the farm with Khaled and uncle Saleh.
Dr. Ahmed meets uncle Saleh, who gives him a lot of information about palm cultivation. Ahmed inadvertently causes Bakr's embarrassment over his disfigured face, while Bakr's sister tries to convince him to get married.
Dr. Ahmed decides to apologize to Bakr for what he did, and he agrees with uncle Saleh to come to the farm to learn about the types of dates there.
Saleh explains to Dr. Ahmed and Badr about many agricultural seedlings. Ahmed offers Bakr to marry his blind niece, Hanan.
Badr asks for the hand of his cousin, Hessa, in marriage, but she stipulates that she complete her studies first and work after marriage.
As Badr agrees to let Hessa work after marriage, she asks for a chance to think over the idea of marrying him. Bakr and Hanan get married. Badr tries to persuade Dr. Ahmed to marry as well.
As Bakr is happy with Hanan's pregnancy, he's worried that she recovers her eyesight and knows about his disfigured face. As Badr's father tries to persuade his son to stay away from Hessa, he also thinks about telling his brother Saleh about Salem not going through with his marriage with Salha.
Saleh convinces his daughter to agree to marry Badr. Madi informs Saleh of his son Salem's neglect of his studies and his wish to back out of his marriage to Salha. Bakr is worried that Hanan might change the way she treats him after regaining her eyesight.
Saleh tells Badr information about the pollination process in palm cultivation. Ahmed discovers the possibility of Hanan's undergoing an operation on her eyes, and he is surprised by Bakr's refusal as he fears she'd discover his face deformity.
As Hanan gives birth to her first child, Bakr agrees that she undergoes the operation on her eyes. Madi asks Saleh to break off Salem and Salha's engagement, as someone proposed to marry her.
As Dr. Ahmed thinks about marrying Salha, Salem asks his uncle Madi that Salha wait for him. As Hanan is taken to the hospital after an injury, the doctor decides that she needs to go into surgery.
Badr accompanies uncle Saleh to some shops to find out the types of dates that are being sold. Hanan is prepared for surgery.
As Hanan regains her vision, she discovers the deformation of Badr's face, whereupon she tells him that she loves him, regardless of his looks. Badr marries Hessa.
Badr discovers Salem's marriage to a foreign girl abroad. Khaled asks Dr. Ahmed to help him with the palms' bayoud disease.
When Sheikha asks her son Salem to divorce his foreign wife, he refuses and travels again. Saleh teaches Khaled how to pack dates to sell them, while Saleh is surprised that his date palms are infected with bayoud disease, which is very dangerous.
Saleh suffers from a health crisis due to his shock about the infection of the palm trees. Khaled asks to marry Karima, and Madi rebukes his son Badr for not telling him of Saleh's illness.
After Saleh dies, Bakr decides to take charge of his father's farm. Khaled marries Karima, and Badr prevents Hessa of work after marriage, while he discusses his master's thesis.
Badr recalls how Saleh helped him in his thesis and asks his wife Hessa to travel with him to complete his studies. Salem's mother decides to work in the production of food products from date derivatives, as Saleh had previously taught her.
Hessa agrees to travel with her husband Badr, who tries to help Salem's mother with money, but she refuses. Badr succeeds in the dates business. Dr. Ahmed decides to marry Zahra.
Sheikha’s daughters help their mother make and sell different foods from dates, and her trade flourishes. Sheikha insists that Salem divorces his foreign wife in order to forgive him.
After his mother dies, Salem returns from abroad, and considers selling all the property, but his sisters refuse to do so. Karima gives birth to her first child.
