Facing a crisis made worse by his addiction to drugs and pornography, Ramy's friends decide to help by confronting him about his self-destructive tendencies. They try to get him to meet the Imam of the mosque.

As Ramy starts to strictly follow the Sheikh's teachings, his family grows worried since he usually takes things to extremes. Meanwhile, Ramy befriends Dennis, a white veteran, who converts to Islam.

As Dena posts about her scholarship on social media, her parents warn her that it'll only bring her the evil eye. Later on, Dena's hair starts thinning and she is in for a shocking discovery that sends her down an emotional spiral.

A mistake Maysa made in the past stands in the way of her getting the American Citizenship. Maysa believes that a trans woman whom she humiliated might be the reason why her Lyft Driver account was suspended, and she tries to make amends.

When Ramy's friends decide to have a bachelor party in Atlantic City, they head to a strip club. As the friends head back to the hotel, Ramy and Steve feel uncomfortable after an awkward situation.

Having lost his job without telling his family, Farouk starts filling in job applications with no prospects of success in sight. He warns Ramy against getting married because taking care of a household is too much work.

Uncle Naseem struggles as he navigates his way through the difficulties of his concealed sexuality, while he tries to slightly take it into the open.

Amani, Ramy's cousin and former lover, arrives for Ramy and Zainab's Katb Ketab ceremony, thwarting Ramy's plans and reviving long-buried emotions. As Ramy and Amani hook up and he later tells Zainab about it, Zainab and her father give up on Ramy.
