Hanan, who's divorced and works in a plant nursery, is active in an association combating violence against women, while Karim wants to marry her. She quarrels with two young men abusing a girl, and as the clip gets filmed and posted on the Internet, the two young men try to assault her, so she runs away.
Hanan makes her statement about the incident to the police, but the girl's mother asks her to drop the complaint for fear of a scandal for her daughter. Hanan agrees to marry Karim.
Hanan goes to the doctor to check her ability to conceive. Farouk asks Hanan to join the party he leads. Hanan goes to the cinema with Farouk, which angers Karim. The political coordinator asks Hanan to lead the election campaign.
Karim breaks up with Hanan and goes out with his co-worker. Hanan becomes sad and goes to meet the political coordinator, who asks her to give a lecture to the party's members, upon which he admires her method of persuasion and collects information about her.
Hanan's father refuses her work in politics, and the young man's mother asks Hanan to drop the report, but she refuses. As Hanan goes to Karim but doesn't find him, his friend tells her to forget him. Hanan focuses on working at the party and giving lectures to the youth.
Suhail comes from the syndicate to mediate the problem of the party's taxi drivers. Hanan meets him and discovers many of the drivers' transgressions. Karim tells Hanan of his love for her and his wish to marry her.
Hanan and her brother go to the village to see their father, but they do not find him. Hanan learns from her mother about the decision of her father and the neighbors to sell the land to a stranger for a small sum. Hanan tries to convince the people not to sell the land and leave it to strangers.
Hanan decides to marry Karim after a journalist describes her as a divorcee. Farouk asks Hanan to lead the electoral campaign, but the political coordinator refuses. Farouk's wife encourages Hanan to meet the journalist.
Hanan finds a camera in the doll, so she informs the police. Hanan leads the election campaign, meets journalists, and one of them threatens her while she is collecting rubbish in the street. However, her brother sees the video and the person involved in it and helps the police arrest him.
Bashir gets angry at Farouk's decision to have Hanan lead the electoral campaign. A little girl asks Hanan to help her brothers find work, so she promises to help them. The party loses the first campaign, and the opponent wins with the help of Bashir.
The press writes about Hanan's marriage, which did not legally end in divorce. Her husband wants her to return home, agrees with the journalist to conduct an interview in exchange for money, and refuses to divorce Hanan, who calls Karim to come and pick her up.

The marginalized people protest in front of the municipality, and Hanan tries to calm them down. Karim asks Hanan's brother to go home, but he refuses. Hanan asks the minister to find a solution for people with special needs. Karim's ex-wife calls Hanan and insults her.
As Hanan gets married, the doctor informs her she needs to see a psychiatrist because she has no contraception to get pregnant. Shamsi's brother tells Hanan that his sister has run away from the house where she used to work. Hanan finds her hiding in an abandoned house and tries to put her in a shelter.
Hanan goes to the psychiatrist, while her relationship with Karim is strained because of work and her not caring for him. Karim goes with Hanan to a business party and meets Farouk and his wife. Hanan's friend finds a murdered person in front of her house and goes to report it to the police.
Hanan investigates the murder that occurred in the neighborhood for which she is responsible. Latifa has been having nightmares since seeing the man's corpse. Shamsi seeks Hanan's help after her brother assaults her, and a funeral gets held for the man with the approval of the party head.
Hanan meets some women who talk about some officials exploiting their influence to harass them. She gives a lecture at the party about harassment and calls for an investigation. Hanan's brother works with the restaurant's owner, and the latter uses him to take revenge on Hanan.
Hanan mediates so that Shamsi's brother can be released. Karim turns away from her because of her lack of interest in her life with him. Hanan's brother agrees with Jalal to work in a workshop. Shamsi's brother beats Hanan's brother and thinks he is dead, so he flees.
Hanan rescues Shamsi's brother and takes him to the hospital. Hanan searches for her brother, but Jalal denies knowing his whereabouts. Shamsi steals money from Hanan's house and gives it to her brother. Jalal helps the party head arrest the criminal who was blackmailing Hanan's brother.
Bashir suffers from back pain, and Shaima visits him, but he does not want their relationship to go back to how it was before. Bashir helps Shaima meet a woman inside the prison without knowing who she is. Shaima agrees with Khadr to eliminate Hanan's party.
As Karim's brother likes Hanan's friend and wants to marry her, he meets her and her son in a restaurant. Hanan goes to the psychiatrist and feels that her relationship with Karim has ended because of work and politics. Hanan's friend agrees to marry Hammad.
Hanan quarrels with Shamsi. Shaima exposes Hanan and the party she belongs to, and Bashir interrogates her about her brother's affiliation with a criminal gang. Hanan tells Karim that she does not love him, and the latter gets angry and leaves her when he sees her with Bashir in the car.
Hanan asks Jalal to tell her the whereabouts of Omar, but he denies knowing his whereabouts while he is hiding him. Hanan takes the idea of researching the circumstances of the woman's condition after leaving her work from a friend. Hanan learns that Omar has gotten arrested while he is on the run.
Karim leaves the house and files a divorce case against Hanan, who collapses because of this. Shamsi meets Karim, gives him the money she stole, and asks him to go home, but he refuses.
The heads of the two competing parties meet and try to agree for their benefit. Hanan and her friend are angry at the party's alliance with Khadr's party. The members of the two parties meet at Hanan's house to discuss mutual rules, some of which Hanan rejects.
As Hanan gives the party head an envelope she found in front of her house, he informs her of the seriousness of the news and that the press should not know about it. She disagrees with him and tells Bashir of her dissatisfaction with the party's new directions. The guard gets hit on his head and faints.
Farouk's secretary takes the guard's phone before the police arrive. The crime is investigated, and Bashir consoles Farouk. The police inquire from Farouk about his relations at the party. Hanan gets angry at Farouk's new attitude, and he considers her responsible for the party's failure.
Hanan leaves work at the party and returns to the land. She goes to her parents' house, and they are surprised that she has returned and left the city. Lubna tells Karim that Hanan has left the job, but he does not go to find her and tells her that he has moved to work in another city.
Omar gets out of prison and returns to the village. The citizens thank Hanan for her help, and Karim is affected by that. As Hanan exposes the party members, she gets appointed as the party's general secretary, and Karim refuses to get back to her because he refuses her work.
