Jim, a detective in the state of Chicago, decides to move to the South Florida police department to get some rest after he is engaged in an accident that was caused by his superior. He quickly learns, though, that things are more difficult than he had anticipated.
In season two, new events unfold, including Jeff's father being released on bail and beginning to live in a house away from his family before showing a positive influence on Jeff and motivating him to study diligently.
Detective Jim Longworth becomes embroiled in a mysterious murder mystery and finds himself examining a century and a half old ghost story after a body is found in a haunted house, before uncovering the world of liquor promotion.
