When Salma's husband Amer vanishes in mysterious circumstances, the police share that he may have been killed. Salma enlists Mourad's help in an attempt to solve the puzzling case.

As Judy gets run over by a car, she survives the accident after being transferred to the hospital. As Mourad refuses to help Salma unless he gets officially assigned to the case, she convinces him to handle the case unofficially.

When the murder weapon is found and Amer is confirmed dead, Mourad receives an official assignment to the case. The camp refugees look for Judy. Salma discovers that Mourad used to know Amer. Mourad pursues Emad to figure out the secret that the latter is hiding.

During the chase, Emad gets in an accident and passes away. Yousef accuses Mourad of impeding the investigation and causing Emad's death. As Judy wakes up at the hospital, she discovers that she has lost the ability to speak. Haitham is left reeling from the shock of Emad's death.

Mourad and Yousef look for young Judy after she appears on the surveillance cameras at the same time that Amer disappeared. Mourad and Jude discover that someone tampered with the cameras. Sarah tries to get close to Mourad.

Yousef looks for Hala. Mourad and Yousef manage to find Judy at a foster home, only to discover that she has gone mute. When Yousef finds Hala, she denies having anything to do with Amer's disappearance.

In a flashback, Jawwad dies during a conflict in Syria as Rana gives birth to Judy. In the present, Yousef arrests Mourad and Salma after he grows to suspect that they are involved in Amer's disappearance. The director of the foster home refuses to allow Mourad to see Judy.

Sarah's mother accuses Mourad of sexually harassing her daughter. The attorney general orders Mourad to stay away from Salma. Sarah tells her mother that she lied about the harassment as she loves Mourad and was trying to get close to him.

Umm Roshdy disguises herself as a woman called Janat to break Judy out of the foster home. Alia tells Salma that Amer has a son that she doesn't know about. Mourad visits Sarah after she falls ill.

As Yousef looks for Judy after her escape, he grows to suspect that Mourad has something to do with it. Mourad hides Judy in his house. Alia denies that she told Salma about Amer's son, Feras.

Yousef gets a sketch of the mysterious woman who broke Judy out. Mourad and Salma accompany Judy as she looks for her mother's camp. Yousef arrests Umm Roshdy after he matches her to the sketch he has.

As Mourad discovers that Amer was involved in trafficking children, he brings Judy back to Hala. It's revealed that Amer faked his own death after he killed Hesham and tampered with the cameras, all in an attempt to evade being held responsible for his crimes.
