In the wake of Trump's triumph in the elections, Ally's phobia and anxiety witness a severe increase that strains her marriage to Ivy, especially as clowns start a bloody rampage in the city.

As racial tensions rise all over the country, Kai manages to find himself in a position of power. Ally is terrorized by the same clowns who killed her neighbors.

Ally deals with the consequences of Pedro's accidental death. Ivy learns of Ally's cheating. Ally's suspicions of her new neighbors increase.

A past connection is revealed between Winter and Ivy. Kai uses people's personal frustrations to lure them into joining his cult.
