As the twins are about to start eighth grade, Junior works by himself for Migos, managing the latter's social media, and Pops announces his engagement.

When Pops begins gambling and partying to move on from his heartbreak, Dre realizes he must step in. Bow uses Junior to dodge an obnoxious parent by dropping Junior off at school
