Malak finds out that her fiancé, Ziad, is cheating on her. When he can not reconcile with her, he marries his ex-girlfriend, Reham. After Malak learns about it, she has an accident resulting in losing her memory. Maryam suffers from Medhat's insults.

Reham has a nervous breakdown after Ziad leaves her during the wedding. Rushdie hires thugs to hit Ziad in revenge after he breaks up with Reham. Malak disappears from the hospital.

Malak returns to her normal life. Rushdie sues Ziad for the huge deferred dowry. Medhat asks Maryam to get back together with him and when she refuses, he threatens to tell Malak the truth about Ziad. Ziad eventually returns to Reham.

Malak helps Karim. Maryam returns to her husband which makes her family cut ties with her. After a year, Ziad gets separated from Reham. As he applies for a job, he accidentally meets with Malak who doesn't remember him. Ziad learns of what happened to Malak.

Reham is rescued after she attempts suicide. Karim tells Malak that he likes herm but she doesn't feel the same. Ziad asks Sherine to help him get back with Malak. Malak gets to know Ziad as it's the first time.

Malak's father agrees to let Ziad get close to her. Maryam decides to turn over a new leaf with Medhat after his father cuts him off. Reham gets a gun. Ziad is hired at the company. Ref'aat attacks Malak at work because he wants her position.

Medhat refuses to seek treatment for his father and gets him into a nursing home because of what he had done to him in the past. Malak submits her resignation because of Ref'aat's harassment of her at work. Reham tells Ziad about her pregnancy.

Ziad is suspicious about Reham's pregnancy. Things get worse between Medhat and Maryam once more. Rana tries to make it up for Sameh for being away from him because of her work. Safy confesses her love for Sameh. Reham finds Malak's house.

Mustafa confesses to Safy that he loves her, but the age gap between them prevents her from reciprocating his love. Malak returns to work after the owner of the company gives her full control. When the company's information is leaked, Medhat punishes Maryam by taking another wife.

Ziad confirms that Reham is not pregnant. Malak discovers that Ref'aat is the one who leaked the information, and strict measures are taken against him. Reham goes to Malak's company with a gun.

Maryam kicks Medhat's wife out and takes revenge on them. Rushdie decides to take his daughter Reham to a psychiatrist after wanting to kill Malak. Malak visits Ziad's house at his father's insistence.

Ziad tells Malak that he was married, and confesses his love to her. Kamal concludes the divorce papers for Reham and Ziad. Maryam learns that Medhat is a drug trafficker. Khaled is rehired. Rushdie locks Reham in and she sees a psychiatrist.

Malak agrees to be officially engaged to Ziad. Maryam starts effecting her plot to take revenge on Medhat for his drug trade. She threatens him anonymously about his illegal acts.

Maryam makes use of what she has learned about Medhat's drug trade and forces him to give her the check and attend her sister's engagement ceremony. During Ziad and Malak's engagement, Reham arrives and ruins the event as Malak starts to remember everything.

Following what Reham did, Malak relapses, and Ziad asks Medhat where she is. Medhat writes his property over to Maryam. Malak tells Karim that she accepts to get engaged to him.

Malak's family is shocked when she tells them that she has not lost memory but staged her engagement to Karim to get back at Ziad. Maryam reports Medhat to the police. Reham commits suicide in Ziad's house in retaliation for what he had done to her.

The police accuse Ziad of killing Reham because his fingerprints were found on the murder weapon. Sameh leaves his home after his situation with his wife Rana becomes unbearable. Medhat decides to make Maryam pay for reporting him to the police.

Ziad's situation in the case worsens after the police find a phone call of him threatening to kill Reham. Abdel Fattah decides to help his son in an attempt to atone for what he has done to him in the past.

Medhat is arrested, and Maryam refuses to return the money to him. Ziad's case gets more complicated.

Ziad loses all hope when Reham's psychiatrist fails to be of any help regarding Ziad's case. Things take a turn when a witness testifies to seeing Reham killing herself.

Suleiman testifies that Reham committed suicide, and Ziad is released. Maryam refuses to forgive Medhat for his cruelty with her.

Medhat is released when Farghaly falsely confesses to committing the crime in exchange for money. Malak tries to sort things out with Ziad. Khaled takes revenge on Sherine and tells Kamal the truth.

Maryam refuses to give the money back to Medhat. Rana keeps from Sameh the difficulty of her pregnancy. Amal, Karim's ex-girlfriend, asks him to help her separate from her husband to force her family to marry him. Ziad decides to travel outside the country.

Malak and Ziad's relationship reaches a dead end. Maryam decides to return the money to Medhat in order to separate from him definitively.

Medhat refuses to leave Maryam. Ziad and Malak's parents interfere to reconcile them. Sameh learns that Rana has lied to him because it's impossible for her to get pregnant.

Ziad and Malak reconcile and get married. Ghadeer's father threatens Medhat to get him to deal drugs again, but he refuses.

After Medhat's many attempts to return to Maryam, he eventually leaves her. Sameh decides to punish Rana for lying to him and he breaks up with her.

Kamal becomes sure that Sherine is only after his money. Problems find their way to Ziad and Malak's relationship, as he cannot make peace with her being his manager at the company.

The problems between Ziad and Malak at work increase. Medhat is killed after he reports Ghadeer's father to the police.

Ziad leaves the company because he doesn't want to lose Malak, and she becomes sure of his love for her. Maryam collapses after Medhat's death. Safy agrees to marry Mustafa. Karim and Amal get engaged. Malak tells her family that she's pregnant.
