Hussein works as the head of a publishing house. He suffers from frequent asthma attacks. He trusts his office manager, Fawzia, the daughter of his old friend, and treats her kindly. This arouses the jealousy of her fiancé, Sami, as well as Hussein's wife, Awatif, who insists on keeping her away from the office.
