As Ramzy carries out a terrorist attack, the Big Boss congratulates him, sharing that he is very close to earning the position of the Caliph. The TV presenter, Tarek Kassab, reunites with his childhood friends, leading to a meeting between Officer Adel and the terrorist Ramzy.
As the four friends reminisce about the old days, Khaled deliberately brings up Ramzy's old sweetheart, Manal. As Ramzy and Adel have a heated discussion, Khaled leaves to get food. A gunshot sends the friends rushing outside, only to find Khaled injured on the ground.
As Ramzy (Abu Mansour) speaks to his sweetheart, Manal, for the first time in years, he tells his minister that he had ordered Adel's assassination, but Khaled was killed by mistake. The Caliphate Shura Council pledges allegiance to Ramzy as the Caliph. Tarek tries to have Khaled's wife on his show.
Umm Abdullah (Abdullah's mother) asks Ramzy for a divorce, revealing that she knows that he killed her brother to be the only ruler. In the wake of Khaled's death in Adel's stead, the latter asks Tarek to inform Ramzy that he has two scores to settle with him.
As Manal's colleague, Ahmed, proposes to her, he meets her father, who defers to his daughter's opinion. After his group carries out a bombing in Eastern Kabul, Ramzy agrees to let Tarek do an exclusive interview with him in exchange for funding his group's activities.
Hassan's uncle informs Abdu and Khairat that their son, Ramzy, has called Manal. Ramzy welcomes Tarek, who relays Adel's vow of vengeance to him. Osama tries to convince Ali that his atheist friend must be killed. Adel visits Ramzy's parents to check up on them.
Manal writes Ramzy a letter, confessing that his voice stirred up both her love for him and her fear. When Ramzy confesses to Khaled's murder on tape, the surprised Tarek refuses to give the tape to the station, claiming that his excellency wants to see it first. Ramzy's son, Mansour, gets killed.
Tarek's parents bargain with his ex-wife to give up her son's custody in exchange for money, but she refuses. Thinking that Osama has something to do with Anwar's accident, Ali quarrels with Osama.
Adel and his boss make a deal to send someone to infiltrate the terrorist group. Ramzy orders Sheikh Numair to cut off the road that the other groups use to deliver cannabis, all so that he could force them to give up Mansour's murderer.
Manal grows angry when she learns that Ahmed used to be married. Abu Qutada tells Ramzy that Umm Abdullah is the one who killed Mansour. As the police raid Osama's house, he gets arrested while in possession of bombs, maps, and weapons.
As Ramzy holds Umm Abdullah in a locked room, he soon tells her to bid her son farewell before trying to kill her. When Hassan confesses his love for Mariam, she reciprocates his feelings.
Tarek gets angry at Ragia for hiring fellow media presenter, Juwairya, to share with him the platform of the Arabic channel that she is going to open in Egypt. When Ramzy takes another wife, Halima tries to kill him, but he survives.
As Adel questions Osama, the latter tells him that he has a personal vendetta with him over his torture of Sheikh Gharib Zidan. Ramzy divorces his new wife, Hurra. Tarek threatens his ex-wife when he finds out that she had an unregistered marriage.
Reem agrees to marry Hassan after he proposes to her. Ramzy meets the fellow Emirs of other groups and shares his dream of uniting them under his banner, but Abu Moaaz refuses and questions his sanity. Ramzy's mother passes away.
Manal sends a letter to Ramzy to inform him of his mother's death. Hassan asks Abdel Sattar to wed after Khairat's death. Umm Abdullah prepares a fake passport to travel to her uncle as she plots revenge on Ramzy.
As Ahmed grows angry with his mother for her relationship with Hassan, the latter reveals that he wants to marry her. Adel informs Osama that Gharib Zidan is his real father who had married his mother in secret. Ali catches feelings for his colleague, Randa, and tries to get close to her.
As Wahid joins Ramzy's terrorist group and takes the name Abu El Farag El Masry, Ramzy asks Numair to monitor Wahid. Tarek wins his son's custody in the wake of his ex-wife's marriage.
Randa asks Ali to change his classic way of dressing. Ahmed asks to go see Manal’s father to ask for her hand in marriage officially, to which she agrees. Ali tells his brother Adel that he wants to sell the building located in El Sayeda.
Tarek is fiercely attacked by his ex-wife on television. American forces arrest Ramzy and put him in custody. Numair tries to gain the confidence of the Shura Council to succeed Ramzy as Caliph.
Ramzy agrees to collaborate with the Americans. Tarek tells the channel’s management that he will bring Umm Abdullah as a guest in an exclusive interview to talk about the terrorist group and her husband, Ramzy, but as soon as she arrives at the airport, Adel takes her in for questioning.
Ramzy welcomes Osama as a new member to the group (Al-Gamaa), upon which he takes the name Abu Gharib. Tarek brings his son back to his ex-wife. Manal tells Adel that she won't be able to conceal Ramzy's participation in the assassination of her brother from her father.
Ramzy appoints Osama as his bodyguard and marries him to one of the girls, meanwhile he agrees with the Americans to choose those he wants to save before they bomb the cave.
Ramzy releases Osama and tells him that he'll need him in the time to come. Adel tells Hassan that Manal learned of Ramzy's participation in the assassination of her brother, upon which Hassan tells Adel that Manal has to fulfill her patriotic duty by entrapping Ramzy the terrorist.
Hassan reconciles with his wife Reem. Adel asks Manal to appeal to Ramzy and tell him that she has changed to have him send for her to Kabul, whereupon Ramzy replies to Manal's messages and tells her to expect good news soon.
The channel’s director tells Tarek to get ready to have on his show a renowned personality whose appearance will create a stir, whereas Tarek tries to obtain information from Umm Abdullah, who turns him down.
Adel warns his friend Tarek against playing any games in front of the audience. The officer asks Manal to send a message to Ramzy in order to prepare for them to meet. Tarek airs the exclusive interview with the terrorist Ramzy.
Manal travels to meet Ramzy. Kassab, Tarek's father, dies. Adel tells Ahmed about the nature of his secret meeting with Manal, who refuses to marry Ramzy unless he divorces all his wives and brings her father from Egypt to bless the marriage.
Abdullah returns to his father, and while being handed over to the Caliph’s group, Numair gets killed. As Manal gets sick, Ramzy orders Abu El Farag to take her to the hospital, where the former disguises himself as a doctor and visits her.
After the terrorist Ramzy is deported to Egypt, he asks Adel to see Manal, who confronts him about killing her brother, and when he denies it, she doesn't believe him. Tarek asks his ex-wife to leave her husband and get back with him.
As the 25 January revolution breaks out in the country, the terrorist Ramzy escapes from prison. Ali tells Sarah that he loves her. Former Brigadier General Adel confronts the terrorist Ramzy live on Tarek Kassab’s TV show.
