Students prepare for the start of a new academic year. Jamila and Hessa quarrel after the latter cut Jamila's hair. As the war bell rings, some of the students get to know their female classmates, whereupon Mansour falls for Naasa. Umm Mishaal (Mishaal's mother) arrives in Beirut to visit him.

Shaha quarrels with Mishaal, who lodges a complaint with the university administration, so Naasa decides to take revenge on him and teach him a lesson; he is surprised by someone trying to kill him. Abdel Wahab forces his son Mansour to marry his partner's daughter, whom he discovers is his classmate at the university.

Umm Mishaal is surprised by the news of her son's marriage, while Mansour asks his father that he marries Jamila, but his mother refuses.

Mansour tells Jamila that he loves her. Tarek joins a terrorist organization whose alleged mission is to achieve rectitude; Umm Mishaal forces her son to confess that the girl he married is pregnant. Nouria's brother beats her.

Umm Mishaal agrees with her son to terminate his wife's pregnancy. Hessa agrees to marry Mansour to spite and take revenge on her sister Jamila. Bandar asks to marry the Christian flower girl, Maria, but her family refuses.

As Jamila takes advantage of Mubarak's academic intelligence and tries to get close to him, Farhan threatens to expose her. Mishaal meets Latifa and tries to get close to her, while Mazen's wife discovers that he's having an affair.

The students go on a trip; meanwhile, Tarek begins to infiltrate them to turn them against each other. Mansour is upset by Jamila's closeness to Mubarak.

As a snowstorm hits while the students are on their way back from the trip, they are forced to stay in some house. Mazen's wife decides to leave him because he cheated on her. Mansour makes everyone mock Mubarak in order to take revenge on Jamila.

Shaha tells Naasa that Abdul Karim proposed to her, while Musaed tells Bandar that he likes Latifa, but suspects that there is a relationship between her and his brother Mishaal. Nouria discovers that her doctor slips her a sedative every time she goes to see him.

Mansour gives Farhan Jamila's letters to him and asks him to expose her. When Tarek replaces Abdul Karim's speech that he was going to deliver at the party HQ, the latter thinks that Naasa did it. Mazen's wife discovers that he's gotten a girl pregnant.

Mishaal tells Latifa that Fathia died of hemorrhage while giving birth and that the child is his. As the doctor threatens Nouria with the pictures he took of her while she was unconscious, she turns to Farhan for help. Naasa decides to drop out of college, but Abdul Karim convinces her not to.

Naasa tells Shaha that she loves Abdul Karim. When Issa discovers that his brother's wife loves him, he chides her. Mansour tries to reconvince his father of his marriage to Jamila, but he refuses because her mother is a dancer.

When Khalifa discovers his wife's love for his brother Issa, he suffers a heart attack, whereupon his wife tries to convince Issa to let him die so as not to expose them. Mubarak's father asks Jamila's father for her hand in marriage for his son.

Jamila agrees to marry Mubarak. Mishaal agrees with Farhan to take revenge on the doctor who's threatening Nouria. Shafiqa asks Nadine not to have an abortion.

Issa is surprised by a report from Noura against him accusing him of trying to kill and rape her. Mishaal and Farhan photograph the doctor naked so he wouldn't threaten Nouria again. Mansour discovers that Jamila's gotten engaged.

Farhan searches for Mubarak, while Musaed informs his brother Mishaal of his wish to marry Latifa.

As Khalifa divorces Nour, Issa promises to marry her after the iddah; her waiting period. Umm Mishaal tries to persuade Musaed to marry Azari.

As a masquerade is held for the students and everyone attends, Tarek is infuriated, while Abdul Karim discovers Khaldoun's relationship with Naasa.

Tarek tries to convince the nightclub employee Suna to work with him and gather the students around her, while Issa springs a surprise on Musaed about Latifa's pregnancy.

Bandar quarrels with Issa for exposing Latifa, and Mishaal reveals the matter, as Latifa was asking the university supervisor about Fathia's pregnancy and her son, whom she gave birth to before her death. Meanwhile, Mansour and Jamila get married in secret.

Jamila quarrels with Mansour and demands that he publicize their marriage before his wedding to her sister Hessa. Suna gets sick and Tarek takes her to the hospital. Mishaal takes his son, while Musaed still believes there is a relationship between Mishaal and Latifa. Shafiqa discovers she is pregnant.

Shaha is accused of stealing someone and is arrested. Farhan suspects that there's a relationship between Jamila and Mansour and demands that the latter stay away from her and expedite his wedding to Hessa.

Latifa falsely tells Issa that she's pregnant with Mishaal's baby. Jamila discovers that Mansour has set the date for his wedding to Hessa, and he begins to evade her, while Shafiqa asks Nadine to have an abortion.

Musaed confronts his brother Mishaal with his being the father of the child he brought home. Mansour divorces Jamila.

Latifa threatens to expose Mishaal and asks him to marry her in retaliation for Fathia, while Musaed decides to leave the house.

Latifa kidnaps Mishaal's son to return him to the university's supervisor, but the latter dies. Abdul Karim's father asks Shaha to stay away from his son so that he can wed him to a girl who can bear him children and inherit him.

Latifa meets Musaed and tries to reveal the truth about her relationship with Mishaal. As Tarek shaves his beard and decides to leave the organization, Issa warns him that they will come after him.

Mansour and Hessa get married, as do Mubarak and Jamila, the latter of whom tells Farhan that she's still in the iddah period after her divorce from Mansour. As the academic year ends, everyone prepares to travel back home, while Musaed asks his friend to kidnap Mishaal's son.

Mishaal quarrels with Musaed for kidnapping his son, while Jamila tells Hessa that she is pregnant with Mansour's baby.

Abdul Karim proposes to Shaha. Khaldoun informs on his friends at the Popular Resistance. Jamila gives birth to her first child, a girl. Years pass, and Mubarak discovers that there is a bomb at Jamila's daughter's school party, whereupon he sacrifices himself to save everyone.
