As Khaled decides to flee to Italy, sneaking in by sea, he takes money from his mother and contacts his friends to pay the money to the owner of the boat which will transport them.

Naguib goes to the Maritime Border Command to search for Khaled. It turns out that many youths have drowned after the boat sank, and the Italian border patrols have been trying to rescue those who are still alive.

A group of people is collecting a sum of money to hand it to a boat owner who will help them sneak into Italy, regardless of the risk of the adventure.

A passenger harasses a girl on the boat, while the boat owner discovers that the boat has malfunctioned.

The boat owner tries to repair the boat. A girl suffocates inside an Italian ship. Moreover, citizens go to search for the corpses of their children after their bodies wash up on the shore of Zarzis.

The citizens continue to search for their children among the bodies along the shore. On the other hand, the boat owner manages to repair the boat and continue the way to Italy.

Naguib decides to go to Italy to search for his son. As the passengers discover that a murder has occurred, they cast the first mate into the sea, and he dies.

Hala feels desperate being at death's door. Keita is arrested in Italy and deported to her country.

After a lot of suffering, Hala gives birth in the boat. Meanwhile, citizens go to the City Hall after the names of the drowned are published.

An Italian rescue squad comes to save the passengers in the ill-fated boat. Furthermore, the families of the victims in Zarzis seek the help of a lawyer and assign him to find their children.

Alya is released from jail and decides to go to Italy to search for Amina. Daniela's baby dies on the boat.

Naguib and his wife assign a lawyer to search for both of their children. As soon as the boat arrives in Italy, Saroukh enters the hospital, while his friend is arrested.

Soon after passengers arrive on the island of Lampedusa, the authorities investigate them to find out the reasons for their illegal immigration, while each begins to tell their story.

The immigrants suffer after the Italian forces detain them. Fares misses his mother, while she thinks that the boat he boarded has sunk.

Hala tries to find out the whereabouts of Saroukh. Majeed discovers that his son, Khaled, is still alive. After the immigrants rebel, they get deprived of food.

Fares checks up on his mother and subsequently asks the navy to return him to Tunisia, but he gets apprehended and deprived of food.

After she arrives on the Italian coast, Amina meets her sister. Hala asks Saroukh to help her in getting her son back after she abandoned him.

Saroukh informs the Italian police of the whereabouts of his fortune in exchange for Youssef's return to his mother. The lawyer gathers the immigrants' parents to deliver their appeal to human rights organizations.

Khamis dies. The social worker revolts against the suffering of immigrants in police stations, while the journalist who documented everything on her phone is apprehended.

Chaos takes place at the police station after Saroukh brawls with Tijani. While immigrants burn the station and some other escape, the Italian police try to control the situation.
