Hana travels to the United States of America to ostensibly attend an agricultural conference, but secretly, she plots to become an illegal immigrant, hoping that her husband, Hazem, will be able to follow, but Hazem's plans fall through.
Hazem is angry at Hana for staying in America and threatens her with divorce. On the other hand, Hana decides to go to Sacramento to stay with her friend, Salma, but Hazem books her a return ticket.
On her way to the airport, Hana gets arrested and held in custody for inquiry; she is forced to admit her pregnancy. However, the police release her afterward.
Hana is expelled from the room that she rented after her money gets stolen. She is forced to stay with Zee, the driver she met before. Hazem decides to use bees as a way to take vengeance and kill those who have demolished his apiary.
After Hana decides to go to the police station to collect her lost passport, she meets the lawyer, Mu'nis, who works at the Islamic Centre, and they have a conversation.
Badr holds a funeral for his guard after he got killed by bees. Hana starts working at the Islamic Centre, while Hazem talks to her again about returning back to Egypt.
Badr asks Hazem to partner up with him on a new apiary on his farm. Hana asks Zee to move to a new residence. When Hana is attacked by someone for drugs, she gets into trouble with Zee.
Hazem gets angry at Hana after he learns that she is living with Zee in the same house. As Hana rejects Mu'nis's imposed control over her, he confesses his love for her. Hazem discovers that he is required to deal drugs with Badr.
Hana decides to leave work with Mu'nis and work in a supermarket. As a consequence, Mu’nis goes to Zee's house to ask him about Hana. Hazem agrees to collude with Badr to start producing honey from opium.
Zee obtains the green card. Amina confesses her feelings for Hazem. As Hana delivers her baby, Hazem leaves her a voice message informing her that he divorced her.
On hearing the news of the divorce, Hana has a nervous breakdown. Additionally, Hana causes a commotion in the hospital after her baby is sent to the NICU and threatens to kill herself unless she sees him.
Hana enlists Mu'nis's help after the hospital keeps her son in the NICU. The hospital administration informs Mu'nis of Hana's ineligibility to care for her son after she threatens to commit suicide. Consequently, Mu'nis decides to help Hana by hiring her a lawyer to regain her son.
Hana gets an exception to visit her son. Hazem applies for a visa to America. Zee comes to Mu'nis's house to check on Hana, who makes an insane decision by registering Mu'nis as the child's father on the birth certificate.
Hazem is infuriated when he learns of what Hana did by registering Mu'nis as the father of their child. Moreover, a hearing is held to determine the custody of the child with the Department of Social Services.
After custody of the child reverts to Mu'nis by virtue of the judiciary, Mu'nis proposes to marry Hana. When Mu'nis informs his first wife of his decision to take another wife, she reluctantly agrees. Hazem decides to travel to America.
Sarah encourages Hana to agree to marry Mu'nis, who brings Hana her son. Eventually, Hana decides to accept Mu'nis' proposal to marry her.
After Hana marries Mu'nis, she travels to Egypt with him and her son to check on her mother in the hospital. Hazem is forbidden to travel to America and subsequently is kept in custody, while Amina manages to bail him out.
Hana and Yara go with Mu'nis to get to know his family. After Yara informs Hana of Hazem's imprisonment while trying to travel to America to reconcile her, Hana goes to visit him, in which he goes into a tantrum after discovering her marriage.
As Hazem attacks Mu'nis in his workplace, Mu'nis confronts him with facts. As a consequence, Hazem decides to consult a sheikh. Hana refuses to approach Mu'nis until her situation is resolved.
Mu'nis goes to Hazem to talk about their pending situation with Hana. Hazem proposes to marry Amina. Hana asks Mu'nis to take her son to Hazem so he could see him.
As Hana takes her son to Hazem, she clashes with him because of the apiary project. Hazem decides to travel with Amina for a few days. Hana asks her sister to come to live with her.
Mu'nis' mother decides to visit him to inform him of her emigration outside the country. Badr asks Hana to manage the apiary in Hazem's absence. Sarah asks Mu'nis for a divorce when he travels to America.
After the opium honey jar reaches the police, they decide to conduct their investigations. As Hazem returns from traveling, he demands taking back his project from Hana. Mu'nis tries to force Hazem to finish the divorce procedures.
Hazem confronts Hana with everything that has happened since she traveled to America. The police continue to investigate the apiary. Hana breaks down after she receives the divorce paper.
Hana hides her divorce from Mu'nis, who gets angry when he learns that his family is spying on him to find out the reason for his paternity to Ibrahim. It's revealed that Amina is at the final stages of her cancer.
After Mu'nis learns that Hazem has killed Shaheen and confronts him in order to take the divorce decree, Hazem tells Mu'nis that he has already sent it to his house. Realizing that Hana did not tell him, Mu'nis rapes Hana as soon as he returns home.
Flying into a fit of rage, Hazem heads to Mu'nis' house and causes a fuss in the area, after which Mu'nis' family decides to give him his son, Ibrahim. Hazem holds his wedding to Amina.
Mu'nis reaches Hana's location and tries to reconcile her to no avail. The police interrogate Shamba, who has previously worked for Hazem in the apiary, after which he is forced to confess everything. Amina passes away after a struggle with cancer.
Hana spends most of her time with Omar after she gets to know him through Zee. Mu'nis goes to Hazem holding a gun. Hana and Yara are in a predicament when Yara stumbles on Hana at Omar's apartment. The police head to Badr's villa.
After the prosecution investigates Hana and Hazem and releases them, they rush to the airport on finding out that Mu'nis is travelling to America along with their son, at which Hana manages to get him back. Hazem decides to turn himself in for killing Shaheen, who has demolished his apiary.
