Mistaking him for his girlfriend's friend, Ibrahim stabs Bayrum. As the Hajj brings a doctor, he locks the lawyer up, for fear she might report the incident to the police, but she manages to contact her friend Sofian. The Hajj and his daughter go out. Mofida is sorrowful to learn of what happened.
Mofida rejoices when Bayrum wakes up from the coma, and the lawyer visits him and embraces him in joy. Ibrahim's girlfriend tells her father she'll never leave Ibrahim. Sofian is confused because the phone number the lawyer used is Badr's, and he wonders what the relation between them could be.
As Sofian meets the Hajj at the mosque and asks him to reveal who murdered the policeman, the Hajj threatens him. Bayrum's girlfriend, the lawyer, tells him she's pregnant, but he refuses to marry her, despite his family's insistence for fear of scandal.
After Sofi incites Badr to take revenge on the man who assaulted her, said man sends his men to teach Badr a lesson. Sofi also asks Badr not to leave her and promises to repent and be faithful to him. Bayrum prepares to marry Naglaa, but before her marriage, Sofian confesses his love for her.
On the wedding day, Bayrum is arrested and interrogated regarding the murder of the police officer. As Naglaa advocates for him, she is shocked to learn the charges against him and has a change of heart, refusing to marry him. Bayrum gets mad and grows fearful when Abu Bakr threatens to kill him.
Ibrahim plots with Zeina and her brother to buy and distribute drugs. Bayrum and Badr try to help Ibrahim's mother get her money back after Ibrahim robs her.
When Zeina passes out from an overdose, her father goes to pick her up. Bayrum heads to the house of the murdered policeman and meets his son.
Bayrum becomes a part of a project for taxis. Ibrahim buys land to establish a sports hall and leave the drug trade behind, while his wife is arrested for cocaine possession.
Zeina is imprisoned for drug possession after she confesses to the crime. Bayrum helps his friend in the cab project out of guilt.
When Ibrahim learns that Zeina is pregnant, he visits her in prison and asks her not to abort. As Sofian's father falls ill and needs heart surgery, Sofian tries to get the money for the surgery.
As Zeina is hospitalized, she learns she hasn't lost her baby. The sister of the taxi driver grows suspicious of Bayrum. Badr meets Latifa's friend, hoping they will get married.
Sofian flees to the Algerian borders as the police learn he is a drug dealer. Zeina is released, and her father asks Badr and Bayrum to be his partners in a new project.
Bayrum and Badr agree to start dealing drugs. Zeina is assured that her baby is safe and sound. Out of guilt, Bayrum mediates with the Hajj to get a job for the wife of the policeman he murdered.
Zeina gives birth and Ibrahim gives the baby to Mofida. Bayrum is upset when he gets love and attention from the wrong person.
Zeina does drugs behind Ibrahim's back, and when she loses consciousness, her infant lays his hands on the syringe that she uses.
Naglaa agrees to marry Sofian. Badr quarrels with Ibrahim when he exposes his story with Sofi in the presence of his wife. When Ibrahim learns of her addiction, Zeina is admitted into an addiction treatment facility.
Samah's brother beats her up when he learns of her relationship with Bayrum. Badr takes his mother to propose to Samah. Badr confesses to Ibrahim that he murdered Sherif. Badr asks his wife to forgive him for his relationship with Sofi.
To give his ex-wife a taste of her own medicine, Sofian sends his son to hide at Bayrum's. When he goes to Bayrum's to fetch his son, he's shocked to learn that Samah is Bayrum's wife. Badr decides not to work with the Hajj as he seeks to settle down. He asks Bayrum to forget about their business.
Isma'il tells his father that he wants to supersede him in delivering the drugs from Algeria to Tunisia. Zeina runs away from the rehab facility and gets a dose of cocaine. Sofian learns that Zeina killed the guard, and Bayrum killed the cop, and he vows to report them to the police.
Ibrahim is arrested after Zeina and her brother die. Bayrum is sentenced to death as Badr and Ibrahim are sent to prison. Bayrum wakes up, and he is relieved that he has dreamt the whole thing up.
