When Khaled's mother is rushed to the hospital in critical condition, Khaled meets the cleaning lady, Fadila, who tells him that she knows his biological mother, since they were prison inmates. Fadila reveals that Khaled was moved to an orphanage when he was two.

Khaled's adoptive mother, Malika, dies. As Khaled seeks Fadila out, she tells him that she took him from the orphanage after she was released from prison, but her difficult financial situation forced her to sell him to Malika. Fadila runs away after confessing the truth to Khaled.

Amr tells Khaled the story of his adoption and writes all of his property over to Khaled to make it up to him.

It turns out that Khaled's biological mother, Nabila, thinks that he has died. Amr threatens to kill Fadila if she tells Khaled that his mother is alive.

Nabila recalls how she gave her son to Fadila, only to discover that he had died after her release from prison. As Malak applies for a job in the tourism company, Khaled approves her hiring.

Nabila recalls the moment she bid her son Khaled goodbye in prison. Sufian deals drugs behind Khaled's back.

Khaled continues to search for his mother. When Mariam visits Khaled at the company, she grows furious when she sees Malak and asks Khaled to fire her.

Sufian conceals the drugs inside the company's buses. When Mariam comes to visit Khaled, Malak refuses to allow her to see him.

Khaled receives new information about his biological mother. Sufian calls the bus driver to ensure the security of the drug shipment on the way to Tunisia.

The Algerian police search for the drug smugglers. Sufian makes arrangements for a new drug shipment. When Khaled goes to the prison office, he meets Nabila for the first time.

Khaled takes Nabila to the company then to his house and introduces her to his siblings. Sufian tries to sexually harass Malak at the company. When Khaled finds out about what he has done, he retaliates against Sufian.

Sufian claims to the police that he fought with Khaled after he caught the latter in a compromising position with Malak. When the police arrive at the company, Malak reveals the truth. Nabila gives Khaled her divorce papers so that he could use them to find his biological father.

The police look for Nabila's file in an attempt to locate the drug network. Mariam's mother quarrels with her when she discovers that Mariam has been trying to get close to Khaled.

Khaled finds the woman who caused his mother's imprisonment. Nabila takes her husband to introduce him to Khaled and his other family.

Amr begs Nabila not to take Khaled away from him. Khaled starts looking for his biological father, much to Amr's distress.

Malak suggests that Khaled try to get his father's address from the phone company. Sarah tells Malak that she saw Khaled with a beautiful woman at a restaurant.

Rostum tells Many that he wants to propose to Sarah. When Khaled meets his biological father, he holds him to blame for Nabila's imprisonment. His father tells him that he hates Nabila and that he wed her against his will.

Sufian claims that he caught Khaled and Malak in a compromising position. As the officer interrogates Khaled, Malak shows him a video of the incident. When a woman gives Fadila's address to Nabila, the latter is shocked when she goes to see her, only to find Fadila murdered.

As the police arrest Nabila for murdering Fadila, they search her house for the murder weapon. A bloody dagger is found in Nabila's house with her fingerprints on it. Khaled confesses his love for Malak. When he learns that his mother is in prison, he hires a lawyer to get her released.

As Khaled and the lawyer try to secure Nabila's release, his father grows angry with him for trying to help a criminal. Rustom tells Sarah that he is married and attempts to break up with her. Sufian uses the company buses to smuggle drugs, but the shipment is discovered by the police.

Nabila is released from prison and she returns home with her son Khaled whom she gave birth to while in prison. Now a grown-up, Khaled confesses his love for Malak. Sarah breaks up with Rustom when she finds out that he is married.

The officer interrogates Omar and Khaled about the drugs, and Omar confesses that he is the one who killed Fadila and burned all the documents. He justifies his actions by the love he had for Khaled.
