Adam goes to court to defend No'man, but when he discovers that No'man is indeed the killer, he quits the case while in the courtroom. As he resigns from his job, he breaks off his engagement after his fiancée, Yasmine, takes on the case and gets No'man acquitted.

As Ghaita's brother passes away, her father has a stroke, leaving Ghaita devastated. As Adam's mother visits Ghaita's father at the hospital, Yasmine sees her and overhears her saying that Adam is Al-Araby's son.
Wegdan visits her father in prison after finding out the truth. Yasmine asks her husband to put her in charge of the company's accounts. As Adam goes to court to defend Al-Araby and implicate Nasser, Yasmine tells the judge that Adam can't be Al-Araby's lawyer because he is his son.
Al-Araby is rushed to the hospital after he collapses in the courtroom. Nasser threatens Ensaf, whom Ghaita meets and admonishes for leaving her children. Adam tries to get his father acquitted. Nasser prepares to flee Morocco.
Al-Araby gets kidnapped from the hospital, but Adam manages to locate him. Yasmine overhears her husband talking to Hakim, revealing that he is prepared to kill Adam. Ghaita tells her father that she has discovered the truth about his criminal activities.
