As Adam and Mourad work at Amina's law office, Amina assigns Adam to Latify's case since he is a capable lawyer. Mourad tries to kill himself but Adam saves him. Adam's sister, the wheel-chair bound Wegdan, is bothered by how people look at her which makes her avoid going out.

Adam goes to court to defend No'man, but when he discovers that No'man is indeed the killer, he quits the case while in the courtroom. As he resigns from his job, he breaks off his engagement after his fiancée, Yasmine, takes on the case and gets No'man acquitted.

As Adam opens a law office with his friend, he takes on the case of some of the workers at the Al-Barhoumy company who were fired with no compensation. Adam volunteers to take their case and wins it for them.

As Ghaita catches feelings for Adam, she tries to contact him, but to no avail. As Adam's sister falls down, Adam offers her a job at his office. Yasmine is upset that Adam has left her. Amina asks Yasmine to pressure Adam to return to work at her office.

Ghaita's autistic relative arrives for a visit. Adam trains his sister to use the typewriter. Al-Barhoumy hires one of the workers who were fired.

As Wegdan meets Mourad, she tries to help him overcome his bad psychological condition. As Ghaita befriends Adam, her father makes an illegal deal.

As Adam meets Ghaita at a restaurant, he tells her of his feelings for her. Wegdan goes to her brother's law office and tells his partner that she wants to sue Adam, leaving his partner shocked as the secretary tells him that Wegdan is Adam's sister.

As Adam meets Al-Araby in prison, he decides to reopen his case 30 years after his sentence, all because he believes that Al-Araby is innocent. Adam and Ghaita have lunch together, but they are interrupted by Yasmine's arrival to deliver some files to Ghaita.

Adam quarrels with Manal for getting Ghaita to wait for him at his office as he is putting together a case against her father. Meilod goes to Adam's house to apologize for his son's actions with Adam's sister. Adam tries to mend fences with Ghaita after she kicks him out of the company.

As Adam gets beaten by anonymous assailants, Yasmine visits him at the hospital after she finds out about what happened from Adam's sister. Ghaita is conspicuously absent.

As Adam's partner looks for evidence to acquit Al-Araby, he manages to find the only witness, Zerwal, and takes him to Adam's house. Ghaita quarrels with her father, who disapproves of her relationship with Adam. Ghaita's father tries to convince her that Adam is unsuited for her.

As Adam's mother visits him at the office, he refuses to talk to her out of anger for abandoning him and Wegdan when they were young. As Adam is reconciled with Ghaita, he tells her that he doesn't know how her father is connected to Al-Arby's case. Ghaita's father denies knowing Al-Araby.

As Adam meets with his mother and half-sister, the latter tries to hug him and get close to him, but he remains apathetic. Yasmine quarrels with Ghaita over Adam.

When Kamilia decides to leave Morocco, she steals her passport and prepares to leave, but she runs into Adam who convinces her to go back to her mother. Yasmine manages to find a middle ground to resolve Al-Barhoumy's problem with the workers. Elias takes Wegan and Adam out.

As Wegdan celebrates her birthday, Ghaita mistakenly believes that Adam is celebrating his engagement to Yasmine. Elias attends Wegdan's birthday party. Wegdan's mother and half-sister meet Wegdan.

As Adam quarrels with his mother and tries to kick her out, his half-sister admonishes him. As Wegdan is rushed to the hospital, Osama and Elias try to support her. Ghaita's father asks Meilod to find a solution for the case before Adam could uncover their secrets.

Ghaita asks her father about Al-Araby who sent someone to kidnap her. As Wegdan gets released, Osama drives her to her mother's house, which angers Adam so much that he almost gets in a car accident while with Ghaita. Yasmine meets with Ghaita's father, who asks for her help in Al-Araby's case.

As Adam visits Wegdan at his mother's place, he asks his mother to stay away from him since he has no intention of forgiving her. Adam confesses his love for Ghaita and tells her that his relationship with Yasmine is over. Ghaita's father saves Yasmine's mother, who has Alzheimer's.

Adam's mother meets the incarcerated Harby, telling him that Adam would hate him if he knew that he is his father. As Yasmine takes Ghaly's office, Ghaita grows angry as Yasmine acts like a manager. Despite his father's disapproval, Elis proposes to Wegdan.

It's revealed that Al-Barhoumy is the one who killed Al-Sharkawy. Adam's mother tries to prove Harby's innocence. Adam discovers that Ghaita is married and her husband lives in Norway. Elias is saddened by his father's objection to his marriage to Wegdan.

Adam's mother tells his friend that she abandoned her children out of fear of Al-Barhoumy, sharing her suspicion that the buried corpse doesn't belong to Al-Sharkawy and the news that Al-Araby is Adam's father. Yasmine weds Al-Barhoumy. Ghaita is saddened by Adam's refusal to hear her out.

Adam submits evidence proving that Al-Sharkawy is still alive. As Adam meets Ghaita's husband, the latter shares that Ghaita's father planned their marriage and that he came to divorce her. Yasmine replaces Ghaita at the company.

When Adam gets permission to exhume the body, it's discovered that it belongs to an Italian man. Al-Araby gets questioned as the case is reopened, which, in turn, makes Nasser Al-Barhoumy grow concerned about being exposed. Adam approves of Wegdan's marriage to his friend.

As Ghaita's brother passes away, her father has a stroke, leaving Ghaita devastated. As Adam's mother visits Ghaita's father at the hospital, Yasmine sees her and overhears her saying that Adam is Al-Araby's son.

Wegdan visits her father in prison after finding out the truth. Yasmine asks her husband to put her in charge of the company's accounts. As Adam goes to court to defend Al-Araby and implicate Nasser, Yasmine tells the judge that Adam can't be Al-Araby's lawyer because he is his son.

Al-Araby is rushed to the hospital after he collapses in the courtroom. Nasser threatens Ensaf, whom Ghaita meets and admonishes for leaving her children. Adam tries to get his father acquitted. Nasser prepares to flee Morocco.

Al-Araby gets kidnapped from the hospital, but Adam manages to locate him. Yasmine overhears her husband talking to Hakim, revealing that he is prepared to kill Adam. Ghaita tells her father that she has discovered the truth about his criminal activities.

As Adam visits his father at the hospital, Al-Araby tries to bring up the past, but Adam refuses to listen. Ghaita meets Adam. Kamilia returns to Morocco to stay with her mother. Adam is reconciled with his father after he hears him out.

Meilod has a heart attack after drinking poison. Adam's father undergoes surgery. Adam gets attached to his father after his mother proves to him that he didn't abandon them. Ghaita finds a flash drive containing her father's confession to murder. Al-Araby gets acquitted.

Adam's mother asks Ghaita to stay away from her son, prompting Ghaita to make the decision to leave the city. Al-Barhoumy gets arrested after Ghaita turns the flash drive in with evidence of his guilt. Al-Barhoumy confesses to killing Meilod with Samir's help.
