Downton Abbey داونتون آبي


The drama series is about the Crawley family and their servants. Set in the years leading up to World War I, the grand county home Downtown Abbey consists of different family members. Living under the same roof the family deals with these differences in different ways.


In season 2, many events take place, including the Battle of the Somme in 1916, the Battle of Amiens and the Armistice in 1918, the Spanish flu epidemic, and the Crawley family's situation during a series of difficult times.


Season 3 begins with the family facing financial ruin due to the failure of Robert's investment in the Grand Trunk Railway, while the family's only hope is Cora's mother during her visit.


Season four covers the period from 1922 to 1923, as the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their domestic servants continue. As Lady Mary mourns Matthew's death, Gregson travels to Germany to seek citizenship there, and Edith secretly gives birth to a daughter.


In season 5, Tony has another offer for May, Violet Crawley decides to play matchmaker, Baxter is still being blackmailed by Thomas, and James goes away, leaving Downton.


In the sixth and final season, the events begin in April 1925 with Robert about to reduce the number of employees in the estate against his wishes, while Thomas panics because he feels that he is about to lose everything.
