In season 2, Kenny Powers heads to Mexico and begins a new, anonymous life. He befriends a nearby Mexican family and a bar singer named Vida. Charros owner Sebastian Cisneros agrees to do everything he can to promote Kenny's return to organized baseball, but Kenny is discouraged after discovering a secret about April.
